It took them a long time to fix it glennie....they couldn't shut it down too quickly for fear of other lines breaking. At least that's what they said.
-
Thinking of you Linda. Hope your days are filled with love and comfort.

hi ladies, I had JUST posted here Thurs night then our internet winked out grrr. Made an extra pan of peach cobbler for my sistas here. Hope you found it warm by the fire even tho I couldn't tell you it was there LOL.
re: CBD oil ( source: http://www.projectcbd.org/ )
"Cannabidiol — CBD— is a compound in cannabis that has significant medical effects, but does not make people feel “stoned” and can actually counter the psychoactivity of THC. The reduced psychoactivity of CBD-rich cannabis may make it an appealing treatment option for patients seeking anti-inflammatory, anti-pain, anti-anxiety, anti-psychotic, and/or anti-spasm effects without disconcerting lethargy or dysphoria.
"Scientific and clinical studies underscore CBD’s potential as a treatment for a wide range of conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, alcoholism, MS, chronic pain, schizophrenia, PTSD, antibiotic-resistant infections, epilepsy, and other neurological disorders. CBD has demonstrated neuroprotective and neurogenic effects, and its anti-cancer properties are currently being investigated at several academic research centers in the United States and elsewhere."
Wisconsin recently made CBD tx legal for children with epilepsy.
Today, I'm planting some heirloom irises that I got from a friend at work. She was thinning out her patch and couldn't bear to throw rhizomes away so she brought them in to share. She said they're beautiful lavender and fragrant. ♥ to all
-
tx badger for that info.
Now all they have to do is make it legal right?
I see lots of thinks on FB about it
I never saw this much before
Maybe cause I no lots of ppl who r using it
I hope ppl on here read all the things it does for u

I AM THE FIREKRACKER....ducky gave me that name...it fits in more ways then one.
-
welcome Nancy!
FK I'm all for it too. It should be legal and taxed. The gov't could use an infusion of cash, and I'd love to see the politicians' beloved free market concept work for us little guys for a change, to encourage competition and ensure a sufficient supply of quality product.
TTYL ♥
-

-
Someone will feed me delish Italian food? I will do dishes !!!
it should be legal and taxed. I heard the tax on it in Colorado was 30%. that's a nice chunk of change. Medical is supposed to be on the ballot here this fall. I signed a petition to get it on there, so I hope they got enough votes.
-
Welcome Nancy. Ducky claims to be all those things BUT I am the queen of this thread. She tends to forget that! Lol! As for FK, she tends to scare newbies. You will find out her bark is worst than her bite and that she is a warm, wonderful sista.
Just cuz my computer is down doesn't mean I don't have a way to check in. Been busy lately.
-

Welcome to the nuthouse, Nancy. If you are crazy enough you'll like it here.
Ducky - I really want to swim in that pool.... about the detox - it didn't work so good for me this time, I don't think. I'm having really bad pain in my back/hip and am down in the dumps (better now, but still.....). Wish I could have my acupuncturist just move in.
-
was researching on the medical marijuana amendment in FL. It will be on the ballot in Nov! Vote yes on Amendment 2! Please tell all your friends and family in FL to get out and vote for this.
Just a little PSA. Hope you all don't mind!
-
Good luck with the "Get out the Vote" campaign, Glennie. -

Gotta go downstairs to smoke...a reg.cig.
-
i will go out side and have one with you, hand rolled.
-
I'd love to go by train to California - you cumin to Washington? The last time I was on a train (not including commuting to work) I was 13 yo and went from Seattle to NYC by train. It was a great trip. I saw ball lightning in Montana - never saw it before or since.
I'm hoping that hubby and I will be doing some traveling soon - but I bet we won't leave here until about January again. Too much stuff is going on. I've got a contract that will eat up a few months - and then his daughter's twins will be born - and another contract is in the offing.... I've got another 1.5 years until I file for Social Security - in the meantime the contracts certainly help our bottom line, so it's hard to turn them down - even though I don't want to work in the summer because the weather is so great, the fall or winter because the weather is so crappy I'd like to get out of here or the spring because there's so much yard work to do to get ready for summer. Hmmmmm - maybe I just don't like to work???
-
LOL... sounds like a bunch of fun loving wild women are here...
FK - I would love to go on the train to Ca.. I really wanted good Italian food today but settled for Taco Bell.. a far cry from what I wanted.
-
Ok Jo...everything I said about me is true..........checked with my Pilot and he said "hell yea"......so if you want to be Queen you can, but this Princess loves her "role"........lol....
-
I'd love to go by train but I can't get away right now. Gotta have a hysterectory next month.
I don't want to work either but I need that health insurance!
-
the trip is not till next year
But we gotta start planning
Slow,,,where r u?
Do u still want us?hahaha
Imagine a real train trip to California??????? Where would we start????????
Wonder how long it would take from my neck of the woods AND where in the hell would I even find the train?????
-
FK - of course I will go on the train to CA with you and the others. I am from So Cal. And, I have never been on a train so this would be a new adventure for me. I would have to go to San Antonio to catch it. That would be the closest one. When next year and for how long?
-
I'm not running this show
Slow deep breath invited all of us next year
I don't think she has any idea that this just might come to pass
Ducky and I were talkin about it
Gosh it would be sooo much fun
I have no idea where to even get the train
But if the trip is on IM IN...
-
just ask someone where the train station is, and then convince ducky! it would be triptastic!
-
ok would take me and FK at least 3/4 days toget there......trains leave from NY, and DC......can leave from Philly to Pittsburgh, then to Chicago...........sleepers are more expensive then recliners, but it does look like one hell of a trip..............would want to do eiher in the Spring, or the Fall......Summer is the most expensive time........close to $500/$600. round trip, but not with a sleeper room...........just saying
