Radiated breast shrinking

Hello ladies....I don't know if this is possible but I think my radiated breast is shrinking. I finished rads at the end od March. I am still having quite a bit of pain, I also had lumpectomy and she took about the size of a kiwi. When I look down at my breasts now the radiated one looks smaller....this is something new, my lumpectomy was almost a year ago. Any thoughts? Anyone else experience this? Thanks.

lovewins, I am about 31/2 years out from radiation now, and my radiated breast is definitely smaller. The lumpectomy site seems to be sinking in and the scar is kind of purple as well....so the girls definitely don't match anymore.

I think it is not unusual for the radiated breast to shrink. Mine was a cup larger than the other breast, with the LX and rads it is nearer the size of my healthy breast.

I am 1 year out of rads - and I only noticed it in the past 2 months or so that this breast is definitely smaller that my other one.. I don't think anyone would notice in clothes though.. my lumpectomy scar is very reddish and purple ... My BS said its just skin damage from rads.
