Question about blood counts and recurrence

Hi ladies! I am almost two years out from bilateral nipple-sparing mastectomy (08/12) for DCIS, and recently had some bloodwork done because I have been extremely tired over the last six months or so. Bloodwork came back normal with the exception of B12 was on the low end (I've started taking shots but have yet to notice a difference), and parts of my CBC were elevated (my WBC and absolute neutrophils have both steadily crept up over the last year and a half to high levels). Repeated the CBC a month later (last Thurs), and both had again risen. My doctor is sending me to a hemotologist for further evaluation which makes me nervous. I have no signs of infection or inflammation, nor am I on any meds that would cause it to be elevated. Have any of you that have been diagnosed with a recurrence or a secondary cancer had any experience with elevated blood counts? My mind immediately goes to worst-case scenario with every lump, bump, or abnormality that turns up these days which absolutely drives me crazy!! I should also add that I found a tiny lump just under the skin on my R breast back in May, had u/s and mammo, radiologist recommended a bx. Went to my BS, who told me he didn't want to do a core bx because he didn't want to risk rupturing my implant, and he nonchalantly informed me that he thought it was just fat necrosis anyway. He finally relented and did a fine-needle aspiration instead, but didn't get any cells so my path report came back "non-diagnostic"! Ugh. I needed to know a definite answer!! Have a three-month f/u appt with him next month. Sorry for being so long-winded, I'm just trying to decide if there's any correlation between any of these things. Any input would be appreciated :)

i hear you.  I wonder if it ever ends?  I am hyper vigilent for signs amd fatigue is the one that is so hard to pin down. I have no answers but wanted you to know you aren't alone.
