Shingles

I recently just finished my fourth treatment and have four to go.  I am experiencing a rash on my body and have had a fever for a week.  Going to the doctors once again tomorrow, I'm thinking I have shingles.  Has anyone ever experienced this before?

    I'm thinkinig br ca & shingles often go together - mine was after my tx were all finished, though. My nurse practitioner told me her mom, who had also had MX of left breast, had her shingles in the very same spot I did on my body. If caught quickly enough, meds can stop it.

    People with all types of cancer have a higher-than-average risk of developing a viral infection called shingles, which causes a painful blistering rash. Take a look at the bottom of this page here:

    just got back from the doc, nope not shingles or neutropenia.  They are baffled by my rash.  Had a fever still this morning 102.2   Now they are sending me to a dermatologist.   My liver enzymes are elevated so they are checking me for hep c.   To be continued....

    I had shingles 6 months prior to my DX. It's at my left eye....excruciating 

    OP .... I hope you'll feel better soon. If it's shingles the med has to be taken within 72 hour window.

    just woke up from a long day at the doctors .  Got home last night and right to bed. They sent me to see a dermatologist because they don't no what is causing my rash and fever for ten days now.  They are testing me foe Lyme disease and Hep A B C . Also I left a stool sample.   Just want to feel a little better.  I had my first taxol treatment set up for tomorrow, but that got switched cause I'm not feeling well.  I will keep u updated.
