Blood type A & cancer

My father died at age 54 of colon cancer (smoker), my 7 year younger sister had melanoma on her leg & I had breast cancer. We all were/are blood type A. I asked my cancer dr. about the connection & was told that 60% to 65% of his patients were blood type A. Any one else finding a blood type A connection in there family?

My fraternal twin and I are both A + and she is cancer free.

I'm A+, DH is O-

Both 5+yrs survivors
Don't forget that about 40% of all people are A, and it is more common in Northern European groups
