I was diagnosed a week ago today, I have written some posts on here and so many of you have been so helpful... Thank you! I  sure you all understand the feeling of " I feel 100 percent fine" how the heck could I have cancer? I don't get it at all. Yes I am early stage 1 grade 1 but there I no lump! No lump at all! My dr who did the biopsy was like I am right on it and I don't feel it! The actual BS, after the diagnosis even said he was surprised he didn't feel it bc I should be more enlarged bc of the recent biopsy. So of course my mind wants to go to " you guys are all wrong, I don't have cancer!" But I know I do but I am hoping this is just a good sign in the right direction. Anyone else have experience with this? Also I wake up every morning and the pit in my stomach returns and I feel all anxious so I run to this site and it helps me some to calm down. Will this last forever? Does the pit of " I have cancer" go away like ever? Thank you again so much for everything!

Hi scaredmama - It does seem surreal that this could be happening. I think not being able to feel the lump is pretty common, I nor my docters ever felt a thing. I looked for answers everywhere when I was first diagnosed. Sadly no one had any they could give me. These feelings of terror won't last forever, but it is going to take some time for your docs to sort things out, and come up with a treatment plan. Meanwhile if you need meds to help you cope in the short term talk to your doctor. Also I found meeting with a cancer social working really helped. I'm so sorry you have to be here. You will get past this, it is just going to take time.
