Gas, gas and more gas

1.5 weeks post TC chemo and I have had constant gas and belching for a few days (like every few minutes).  Should I take anything for this or just let it continue as it's a natural thing?  I read somewhere that it's a result of the chemo either slowing up or accelerating our digestive tract.  I don't have any pain with it but my kids think I'm gross.  Any thoughts on that?

    me too!  I told my daughter I'm pooting and walking just like an old woman!   The belching was really awful after my first treatment.

    Didn't have much trouble with belching, but pooting - oh my! My MO ok'd taking Gas-X or generic simethicone. It helped a bit, but didn't provide complete relief. It does go away, eventually. *sigh*

    Chemo farts are the worst! There is a brilliantly funny thread, started by our beloved, now gone, Apple, which, if you can find it, will have you rolling on the floor laughing.
