Bummed out with shaped impant choices

I had BMX w/skin & nipple sparing in Feb. 2014 w/immediate implants.  I received Mentor 355cc CPG implants - this was a little smaller than planned due to my skin looking traumatized.  I was trying only to have 1 surgery, but have pretty much decided I would like to have the larger implants.  The PS says I can go 100 cc bigger.  The problem is that I saw all these wonderful Mentor CPG choices online but didn't realize that they were only available in Europe and Canada.  I need more projection and the low height high projection CPG's would be perfect but can't get them.  I've looked at the other two makers of implants and the height and widths are just not right.  The closest thing I can find is a saline shaped implant by Natrelle.  Has anyone used saline implants for their primary reconstruction and if so how do you like them?  I kind of had my mind set on keeping gel.  If I stick with gel I just won't get as much projection as I would have liked - which makes me wonder if I should even get the second surgery -- again I'm BUMMED!

    Sorry you aren't happy with your results. :(

    I don't know much about implants - I let my PS guide me through it and just pretty much went along with whatever he recommended.  Fortunately, my results are good and I am happy overall.  I have Mentor smooth round high profile 650 cc.  I know there's some ladies here that have saline and are happy with them - hopefully some of them will respond.

    Have you checked in with Whippetmom?  She has a thread - Breast Implant Sizing 101 - with a ton of information and she knows everything about implants.  She'd probably be able to give you some good advice.

    Thanks Sarah - I'm not unhappy exactly.  Since I did not go through TE but direct to implant I was/am limited in size so when they had to go with a little smaller implant I'm not as big as I was expecting/hoping.  I actually like the Mentor shaped implant I just want more projection and the USA hasn't approved all of the ones available.  I have read Whippetmom's info.  I guess I was just venting a little - sometimes the USA is a little slow at approving things.  My PS has made some suggestions I just know from looking at what is available outside US that I could have better choices.
