Yes CAC, I linked to those facts a couple days ago. I wish some uninformed people (I'm shocked) who blame Obama (something about a bill he signed in 2012) for everything, should start watching True Blood. Maybe even a dose of Game of Thrones, or Breaking Bad for good measure!
In the meantime, I'll keep Ray here and enjoy my mellow yellow oleander.
-
Blue .. your yellow oleander is really pretty! Ray is doing a great job on your garden!hugs,

Thanks Bren!

Blue - Today we watched a pair of bluebirds teach their three babies how to fly. AMAZING.
-
Of course, this doesn't apply to everyone!

This is one of the comments.......pee'd myself!
"Did
you see Rick Perry and Sean Hannity my goodness are they Nuts or What?
Dumb as Rocks. Guns no less. Geez. I thouht I was seeing a movie and
here it was heckle and jeckle in a boat". -
-
-
Heckle and Jeckle? Nah......Dumb and Dumber.
And what were they planning to do with those guns, pick off a few 7-year-old Guatamalans?
-
What fine upstanding pillars of society. I'm so proud of you men. You are a fine example of what no one SHOULD aspire to be. You are indeed a great EXAMPLE of all that is wrong with our government. It seems ( I'm only surmising here ) that your minds have become as small as some other part of your anatomy and hey guys....do you know how easily you are led. But that won't bother you any more than any of the other Tehadists bull-crap. As for you and the simple-minded Sarah-- don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Because Robert Reich makes sense.
-
Although I find Bill Kristol only a bit smarter than Simple-minded Sarah, at least he is getting the message out -- your not needed or wanted Sarah. Most of the lefties knew that when she was going to be side-kick to John McCain. http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/07/13/conservatives-finally-begin-to-turn-on-sarah-palin-as-bill-kristol-calls-for-her-to-shut-up-video/
JMO but I think all the GOP'ers should just shut up and get something decent done. They continue to be their own worst enemies.....as they try to disrupt a growing list of good things our President has managed despite all their efforts. Don't seem to realize that they lose party members rather than gain them with their shenanigans. Two of my family switched. True they didn't make too large a switch......but having to tell someone they are Repugs no longer suits them at all. They find it disgraceful and embarrassing. Well, I can sure see why.

Just read this piece and must admit....nothing was a real surprise. http://www.addictinginfo.org/2014/07/13/house-republican-shatters-conservative-dreams-of-impeachment-admits-president-obama-hasnt-broken-any-laws-video/ President Obama cannot be impeached because there has been no offense. Writer od this article ( and it makes perfect sense to me ) says attempting to sue will not do much but harm the GOP since they have steadfastly refused to do anything with the flimsiest of reasons.
They are making the Democrats look good with their very clueless running amok with the telling of tall tales, with almost no resemblance to truth, or with those like Simple just running off at the mouth. I'd say good luck in the next couple of years but it is going to take a lot more than that. The GOP needs to get a grip somehow, but don't think that will come any time soon. Too factious.

You really can't make this stuff up. Running around in gunboats .... Lunacy!!

My grandson spotted this beauty eyeing our bird feeders, looking for dinner!

Pretty much.

hahahahahaha!

If those were real cartoons ( untrue ) I would be as they say "bustin' a gut", but they are way too true to laugh.
Love the roses too, Blue.

This was good reading: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/07/10/1313138/-College-GOP-chairman-Evan-Alvarez-explains-why-he-switched-to-the-Democratic-Party Since my own in-laws couldn't quite hang with being Repugs anymore. It won't happen but I would love to see numbers on those who are changing affiliations -- would be of interest to see ( if you could ) how many don't change but also don't vote Repug. I mean, sometimes you can do what you feel you have to without being jerked around by anyone. And no one is the wiser.

I'm putting this here because I think SUNNYflowers would get such a kick out of it. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/07/14/1313839/--To-make-lies-sound-truthful-and-murder-respectable. I got a kick out of it too.

Pathetically sad that some have come to this -- I think those that see things this way should have to scrub that statue of liberty with a toothbrush.

Good Afternoon Buddies,OMG .. it was so hot and humid yesterday and then a storm blew in. My front lawn really needs the rain. Supposed to rain again this afternoon. I was up in Roanoke and the thermometer on the side of a building said it was 99 degrees out. Downright steamy in this part of the south!
I read an article this morning about the Pope speaking out about all the little children migrating north from central America. He admonished "us" to care for them. The first flight of immigrant children being sent back to central America was today or yesterday. I need to find that article and post it.
Gatorgal ... The picture of the owl is so cool. How did you ever find it?
hugs,
Bren

Don't you all find it terribly ironic that the very people who are foaming at the mouth and bitching about the refugee children and saying that we can't afford to feed and care for them because we have hungry and sick and homeless children in the United States are the SAME people who foam at the mouth and bitch about SNAP and Medicaid and housing benefits for poor children in the United States?
Haters gonna hate. Sickening that they will hate little kids, isn't it?
