Pictures comparing results of anatomical / round implants?
Has anyone heard of any picture-collection on the internet, where you can see both reconstructions with round implants and with anatomical implants? I'm discussing rounds or anatomicals with my PS and I really can't decide, and I've googled SO MUCH about this but I can't find any place where they actually compare the looks of the results of these two types of implants.
Please let me know if you've found something on the web!

PS. I've had anatomical implants before I had my mastectomy, but then it was for augmentation. And I didn't really like the shape, I found it too "pointy". But am worried that rounds might be too much like "melon halves", now that I have no tissue of my own.

Mine are very round and could be described as melon halves. But I am very happy with how I look in clothing and that is what I wanted. I think it's a matter of being realistic about the results you can expect when we have no breast tissue to soften the edges.

duvan- Like you, I have tried to do so much research and there are so many variables that it seems impossible to compare apples to apples. So much depends on the TEs that were used, your PS and his comfort level with the various implants, your body, your skin, your muscles...it just seems like so much. Whippetmom really understands these implants and how they can look if you provide her with enough information. Good luck and if you find any great sites, let us know!!

Hello Ladies,
I went through the reconstruction process once but now have my expanders back in. The first swap was with the Mentor High Profile but I turned out kinda flat and squared, that was at 600 cc's... I had waited a month to do my swap maybe that was too soon but for this next swap I'm waiting 3 months to keep my skin stretched at the size I'm at right now (900cc's) for the next swap my PS wants to use the Ultra High Profile.. He says the diameter of this particular implant isn't as large as the others and is supposed to be a better choice for projection
Any thoughts?

Hi everybody and thanks for your replies. Unfortunately I haven't found any pics yet, comparing rounds and anatomicals.
Now that I have TE's, there is like a "bulge" on the upper pole, you know, but in clothes it actually gives my breasts a nice shape. This won't be there when I get the anatomicals, but maybe maybe it would be a little more fill up there if I had rounds?
Has anyone of you consulted Whippetmom personally? I mean sent pictures and measurements etc?
JeniferMiya; from what I've read in size charts, the diameters of the round implants are usually smaller when the projection is high. So if you want a lot of projection maybe the ultra highs are right for you? Still, it seems like anatomicals still have a higher projection generally, than the rounds.
My ideal implant would be anatomically shaped, 5.1 inches in width, 4,5 inches high, and projection 1,7 inches. But this implant only seem to exist in my fantasies. There must exist more women than just me who wants lower profiles?
