first I want to say hello,I'm 54 soon to be 55 yrs old. I noticed a small bb size bump/lump about 1 1/2" to the L of my right Brest about 6-7 months ago along with seems to be knots deeper to the righ side, I went to see my pc dr and he said it was nothing. He did do blood work and my red blood cells were high and testosterone levels were low again I was prev.on androgel but he would not prescribe it again since all the law suits going on.

Now 6-7 months later the lump is about the size of a dime and my Brest an chest itches on that side I've noticed when putting on deodorant under right arm same side my lymphoid are swollen and hurt when applying deodorant. I really don't want to go back to my pc dr that blew me off and just don't know where To go from here.any help greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome. I'm sorry that you are here out of concern.

Maybe asking your PCP to refer you to a breast surgeon who can help you navigate the breast imaging or biopsy (if indicated) part of medicine. As you might know, breast cancer in men is very rare, but does occur. Even if your doctor doesn't think it's breast cancer, a lump that is growing and causing pain needs to be investigated, especially if you're having swelling and pain in the axillary lymph nodes, and you're on a form of HRT. If it's causing you pain, discomfort, and worry, and is getting larger, it needs to be addressed. I think a breast surgeon is a good next step.

    Best of luck.
