Wednesday Weigh In
Comments
-
I am down one pound from last Wednesday.
pat01, my DH is also out of town, and I always eat very lightly in the evenings when he's gone.
-
Ouch Heidi. And I'm up too so I can't even join you in some consolation nibbling.
-
I went up to 134 after pigging out Friday. It was back to 131.5 today. I think I need to eliminate enthusiastic eating on weekends to actually lose weight.
-
I was on vacation for a week, but was only up one pound when I weighed this morning.....so I am thrilled! Now I have to kick myself out of the vacation-eating mode!
-
I'm up about a half pound which is a shame because I feel really skinny and am really hungry too Just trying to maintain some good eating habits and hope for a drop.
-
Down 1.2 lbs since I weighed myself last week. It is a start.
-
Yay for you "losers!" And I mean "losers" in the best possible way. I'm back to counting points and tracking. My bp has been running high and I couldn't get my wedding ring to slide on today. Have been chugalugging water all day to try to flush out the salt which apparently has me retaining fluid.
-
hi everyone I see that you have all been working so hard, keep up the good work!
I am still at my plateau, wanting to lose another 15 pounds to be at my ideal weight. Now that the pool is warming up I can start swimming again- my favorite exercise, so I am hoping to beat this plateau. Trying to fight off the carbs too, easier said than done some days.
Good luck to all!
-
Weighed in today at 185.9... so I have taken 4 pounds off over the last week or so. I am working on dropping 11 more over the summer.
-
Wow. Four pounds in a week! Good for you happyteacher.
-
Well it has been a week of celebrating here, because our beloved San Antonio Spurs won the NBA championship and of course that celebrating has involved a lot of eating and drinking.
It has not been a week of much exercise for me, because one of our dogs had major surgery (femoral head ostectomy - the removal of the top of her femur - the poor pup's budget alternative to hip replacement.) We had one of her hips done just before my lumpectomy, chemo & radiation last year, and finally got the other done. DH and I are spending a lot of time every day doing her rehab exercises with her and just taking care of her. With working full time and getting ready for out of town family coming in tomorrow, I have not managed to get out for a run since last Saturday.
All this to say, I am up one pound and glad it's not worse!
-
Oh Annie, what a lot to have on your plate right now - and congrats to your Spurs, they owned the Heat! (sorry Heat fans).
So, 5 by the 4th ladies, do not look to me for inspiration - I am 161 this morning, exactly the same as last week, and 1.5 lbs more than when I started! So now I am looking at 6.5 lbs in 16 days to reach my goal. Big sigh. I'm beginning to feel that "wee" bit too snug dress for the wedding will be going back to the store, as I search for something beautiful yet comfortable. Luckily, the wedding isn't til September, so I have time.
-
I am up one pound since last Wednesday, but still hopeful that I'll make the 5 pounds by the 4th!
-
I have been bad all week too....I always have a hard time getting back on track after a vacation!
-
Stayed steady at 131.5.
-
Down 1.2 since last week. Counting calories, avoiding junk food and exercising really works. It is Just so hard.
-
I want the 'magic bullet'!
-
The scale is going the wrong way! Up 3.2 lbs.
-
I am down 2.4 but I did not weigh in last week so that is two weeks worth. I did a 24 hour fast last weekend, then had two meals and fasted another 18. It works to kill those plateaus but I can't say its fun!
-
133.4 down 1.6.
-
Down about 2 lbs
-
My weight is the same as last week.
-
Down 2.5 lbs to 158.5 and yes, it is so hard to try and lose weight!
So 5 by the 4th ladies, that puts me 4 lbs to go by the 4th to make my 5. And I am going away for the weekend starting tomorrow, so it will be a double challenge for me. How are the rest of you doing?
-
I'm closer than I thought to my five lbs but it may take more fasting or ultra low carb. Both are hard! Sigh.
-
I have nothing good to report.....man, I have a hard time getting off the 'vacation eating' schedule. I really, really will try to be good this week!!!!!
-
Still the same at 131.5. I may have to actually diet or something. Exercise is a bit limited due to air cast on right leg for tendonitis.
-
Down 2.5 this week. Yippy!
-
Only down 1 lb. from last week. I am stuck at 175.
-
Well, I am not going to make the 5 lb goal, unless I get a bad case of food poisoning before the 4th. But really, I've re-evaluated and am not sure that was even a goal I needed to set. I am staying below my Weight Watchers lifetime goal and I am at a healthy weight. It's enough of a challenge to maintain that. And I've had a mix of happy and sad life events in the last couple weeks, which have all brought celebratory eating, stress eating, or just a lack of focus on my weight and eating habits.
We celebrated our granddaughter's high school graduation, I was sick with respiratory crud for a few weeks, unexpectedly had to have our 9 year old dog put down after learning she had advanced cancer last week, have been taking care of one of our other dogs who had major surgery, had DH's siblings here for a week, had our single son staying here for some TLC after oral surgery, had my aunt pass away yesterday and am celebrating my 59th birthday today. Last year I had a radiation treatment on my Bday and had no hair, so I have much to be thankful for today and have eaten my tiramisu and dark chocolate with no qualms of conscience.
I will weigh in tomorrow for better or worse
-
Happy Birthday, Annie! I am kind of in the same boat weight wise. I was at the top of my BMI at diagnosis. I lost 12 pounds to be firmly within my BMI. I asked the doctor if there is any advantage to losing more weight, and she said there are no studies other than to be within your BMI AND not gain weight after diagnosis. So she said I can continue to try to lose or stay where I am. I don't feel bad about my weight or how I look, but I'd be really hot if I could get down 10 more pounds. LOL. I think we have just revealed I am trying to regain my youth.
