badger - Those look so yummy!
Slow - Thanks for the welcome home.
What is happening here sistas???? Is this thread dying? Is the fire going out? What can we do to bring it back?
Let's get a party started!!!
Where is FK & Ducky??? They are party girls.
-
Jo......will never die..........this is our "go to place"...............I have so much to throw in the fire, it would take a tractor trailer to bring it in.............enough said.............
-
hey,I'm here too
This fire will never burn down cause as ducky says this is our home
So into the fire goes my crappy mood
Yeah I been that way for a few days,,,,just need a good fight to scream and curse everyone who has been bothering me these past few days
As I put on FB if u think its U well that's who it is
So into the fire U NO WHO
Now let's start that fire up again
I need company so come on let's go......bring what ever u want to eat and dring
Waiting to see who comes!!!!!!!!
-
...no dringing, i dont even know what that is, i think it's what ive got though, like the flu: my ears are dringing, and i'm dringing my a$$ around....there's a dringing sensation in my hand, and i'm not eating and dringing enough.
-
Right there with you Kracker.............so tired of the bullshit..............I sometimes wonder if its me.........maybe i expect too much...........IDK.............
-
...Ducky, please don't feel too bad. it is a reflection of your character that you expect too much. it just means that you have a pretty good idea of how things ought to be, and of the way people ought to act. you just have higher standards, that is all. nothing wrong with that, but, it DOES open you up to be more dissapointed than most people, is all. Sorry that you are unhappy... come sit closer to me, and i will put my arm around you, dear.
-
Ducky, I think you and Kracker should hop on a train and take a vacation to California!
Think of the fun the two of you could have.
-
FK - Maybe that is my problem. Guess I woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning and am in a shitty mood for some reason. I need more sleep. Don't want to be at work today. But - as you used to say - The beat goes on........
Thanks sistas for sticking around. I would hate to see the fire go completely out.
-
Jo......its not gone out.....where we us whiners, bitchers, and complainers go for our much needed support and advice.............we're here to stay.........hugs sweetie........
-
nice of u to show up Kath
What does that word mean anyway.....DRINGING ?????
Slow I hope ur kidding about takin a train to Calif???.
I think we would do betta on a slow boat to China, lol
-
ducky - And that is exactly what I have been doing all day - WHINING!!! In one of those moods. Thanks for the hugs - I needed them.

Hello, hello. I'm back from Italy! OMG. What a beautiful, gorgeous, stupendous country with the most lovely architecture. I have almost nothing to throw in the fire about my trip. Except one thing. My elderly cat, Honey who was 20, passed on while we were away. My DD told me on Thursday and I told my DH Friday. He was in a terrible mood for half a day (who can blame him?) then recovered enough to enjoy.
I loved Italy. But what is this I hear about a new thread? Really? Why?
I was smack dab in the middle of all that drama, took a wee vacation from posting, and came back. I think it was good for me. But I missed you girls. Maybe that was good for me too. Showed me how much I loved you all.
And what's this I hear about no pics. Hmm. Just for that.....
Rick and I beneath Juliet's balcony holding her breast, which is supposed to give you good luck.Sleep well ladies.
-
Ah hell
How very egotistical of me. I immediately assumed that the trouble on the board was the same one that I had experienced. I'm sorry. I actually have no idea if they were the same or not, so ignore the comment about me being in the middle of it all.

Red - Welcome back - we missed you. So glad you had a wonderful time in Italy. FK was thinking about starting a new thread and she was the one who said no pictures. You can post all the pictures you want on the bonfire and you don't have to have anything to throw in to come here. I love seeing pictures and hearing of everyone's exciting adventures. Ducky, however, did start a new thread and it has taken off like wildfire.
I must remind everyone that we can have fun and party here. It is not just a dumping ground - we all have stuff to get rid of from time to time but we can always have a laugh or two.
-
oh Red how I wanted to go to Italy all my life
First I didn't have the money
Then when I gave a deposit to go 9/11 happened and I was there and no flyin for me now or ever
I once again have second thoughts about another thread that I was goin to start
Why??????
We have enuf right now,,,all the threads I'm on r kinda slow and not for nuthin I don't want any distractions.."
So that being said DID I HEAR A PARTY??????
I'll be right there,,,,WHERE?
Details please
-
-
Red..................come and sit a spell..........
My grandaughter was in Italy about 1 month ago for 18 days......loved it.........
-
Stop rubbing it in Ducky
I was so upset with myself that I cancelled that trip and my GF who I was goin with stopped talkin to me when I cancelled....just couldn't bring myself to get on the damn plane
Maybe I should take a boat,,,,that's how my mother came here...
Hey we can have a boat party....a very long one....
Who knows how long it takes to get there by boat,,,,starting from PA?
Good idea???.
-
Oh wait
THIS TIME I WONT CANCEL
-
Let's take some time out to pray for Joan London......she just found out she has an aggressive form of breast cancer...................THAT DID NOT SHOW UP ON A MAMMOGRAM..........another case of "dense breasts"...........
-
I saw the article about JL.
I found my own lump. I got a letter from mammogram and US saying no findings of BC. I also have dense breasts.
FK, I don't fly either. My Grandparents were from Sezze, Italy and came over on a boat into Ellis Island. I would love to see where they were from.
-
BTW - I'm ready for that party! Sometimes I put the music on in my house as loud as I can and just dance. It ALWAYS makes me feel better. Even if I can't walk for the next few days!! LOL
-
Beppy.......you amaze me........
-
I don't think enough of the right testing is being on for ladies who have "dense" breasts. That is so wrong!!!
My heart goes out to Joan London.
-
Jo you are so right..................
I do too, and so do my 3 daughters.........our cancer center sends you a letter after your mammogram........in it they tell you how dense your breasts are, report it to your Dr. and tell you to discuss it with him if they are very dense and should a ultrasound or MRI be done to be sure they did not miss anything..................great, as long as the insurance company doesn't bitch.......well I found the cure for that.................I end up saying....put this comment on your screen........IF CANCER IS FOUND AS A RESULT OF MISSING SOMETHING, YOU WILL BE SUED.............works every time.......
-
Good one Ducky!!
You're so right Jo.
Actually I shouldn't say the US didn't pick it up, because it did. I just got a letter saying it wasn't suspicious of cancer - refer back to surgeon. She insisted on the core biopsy. The mammogram showed something a year before on the other side of the breast that turned out to be nothing. However, it never did show the cancerous lumps. If it wasn't for me finding it, I would have gone about my business until the next mammo. Who knows how long those double lumps were in there and just weren't seen.
-
me,,,maybe I had 2-3 mammos in my life
I have dense breasts too and it hurt for a long time afterwards
All my friends were yellin at me GO FOR A MAMMO
my answer it's not in my family,,,
I did find my own lump and it scared the crap out of me
All I kept sayin was it's not in my family
Well it is now
-
My lump was found on my mammo and I saw the sucker on the US. And you all know the rest of the story. As far as breast cancer being in my family, I really don't know. My mom passed many years ago so I had no one to ask about this. I do know it is in my family now.
-
Two days left of work...then I'll be "back"....have at least 3 pages to read here....
I'm ready for a road trip. -
Joan - I also have 2 days left of work then it is vacation time for me. Doing some traveling the entire month of July in our popup camper.
