Help ! progression and auto immune blood disorder

i had a couple bleeds in my stomach so had endoscopy and then one transfusion, then severely anemic so  yesterday was my 4th in 3 months, today I was told my system built up antibodies so now those antibodies are attacking my own good red blood cells !!!!!!!!!!! in addition to that having port put in as had progression in stomach and colon ....so starting gemzar once a week soon as they put in thep ort ..

    Sorry to hear of your situation. It's crappy for you. I have nothing more constructive to say really. 

    Did you have a specific question, or were you just looking for somebody who is going through something similar?

    Rosie - I'm sorry that you're going through this. I don't have answers to your questions. Just wanted to send you a cyber hug and send hope that Gemzar knocks those tumor cells out.

    Hi Rosie,

    Just wanted to send you a hug and tell  you I am in CT too....Middletown.  Sorry about the progression, that really stinks. If I would you, I would go to the gemzar board in Stage IV and then you will know what to expect with this drug. Best to you and hope you feel better soon!

    Rose,

    I am sorry to hear of your progression, I know its a fear we all have. Glad to know you are getting the treatments quickly. Please go to the threads as April suggested, the women there have such great advice and support.
