Hypocentre on fatty lymph node

Dear all,

help! My CT (doc was looking for lymphoma but says its breast related) showed  bilatéral fatty lymph nodes 2, ill defined with HYPODENSE centre.

If anyone has an idea, could they let me know? I'm having a hard time being heard by my docs but this is worrisome enough for the radiologist, now on holiday, to have picked it up, without mentioning further anything to do.

Thanks

Alicki

Hypodense means "less dense".  So - not a radiologist here - but maybe not worrisome, just descriptive?

I'm sure that they would have let you know if it was a problem.  Your BS got the scan results, right?  Can you ask him instead?

    Hi,

No because it was for the lymphoma doc. BUT what I did do was trade two excellent bottles of wine for a second reading with an experienced radiologist that I know whose generous nature welcomes souls in distress. He says there's nothing worrisome and told me in fact that I shouldn't take too much notice of the first reading because he knows the guy who did and ......

So just waiting for the second reading, he said he didn't see anything special. I freaked as usual. Damn anxiety!

Am  having bad headaches so the neurologist scheduled me for an MRI. Went well. The radiologist said All b9. What do you mean ALL???? He told me to ask my doctor but said there wasn't anything to worry about, my MRI was 'pretty reassuring'. Pretty?????

I'll find out what other B9 stuff is in my brain!!!!!!!

    Thanks for responding,
