Let's Post our Daily Exercise

So I'm posting yesterday's exercise...I'm hopeless lol....I did step aerobic and calisthenics for an hour and I walked the dog and I did housework....I had a lot of energy ....odd. Today...not so energetic... I only walked the dog this morning. Did some knitting so my fingers got a really good work-out:)*** I wish everyone the best of health and loads of energy...keeping you all in my thoughts especially those who are not feeling all that great at this time. Sometimes rest is the best medicine...I had to learn that one the hard way.
-
Body balance was cancelled this morning yet noon yoga was excellent.
-
Core & pilates...but am now off to lunch with a friend (Mexican restaurant), so will undo my 'goodness' pretty quickly!
-
Ruth, please have a margarita for me!
Did stretching and walked 15 minutes today - backwards in the snow!
Will walk another 15 minutes later.
Just teasing about the backwards in the snow

Kindergarten, I hope you're procedure goes well today. Also hope Cheryl, sweetandspecial and everyone else not feeling well is doing better today! Happy Tuesday!!
-
Cheryl and Lisa, hope you are feeling better today. Kindergarten, trust all went well today.
ruthbru, have a margarita for me as well. I also thought about needing to have a little more than just beach. We want to relax but be able to go explore as well. I would pose questions - stay nearer to the beach so can walk there or stay closer to any attraction and have to travel to the beach? Do we need a beach or will a pool suffice to relax in/by?

Hello everyone! Had a lovely weekend with the family remembering our son. Thanks for your sweet messages. Got in a beautiful run along the beach. Saw a seal! Did lots of walking and eating lots of delicious restaurant meals.. Walked yesterday. Got out to run today - 4 slow miles. Need to do some weights tomorrow.
Vacation dreaming is so much fun. I absolutely Love Maui and Kauai but Hawaii is very big trip from most destinations but the west coast. If you want to stay state-side Sedona AZ is lovely - lots of spas, scenic and Grand Canyon isn't far.
-
hello ladies, i haven't been here for a while. i didnt do anything special regarding my exerise beside walking 40 mins to 1 hr a day. lol I dont know how you ladies able to do different kinds of exerise in one day. shame on me.
-
regarding vacation, yes Muai is always on my mine, hopefully next year. this early august my family and i will be in south lake tahoe f aor one week. my first time there n cant wait to go. any suggestion on things to do at south lake tahoe ladies! i have 2 kids with me 12 and 9 yrs old. thanks
-
Dear Mz Mes, so glad you had a lovely weekend. Walking on the beach is very peaceful.
Thank you so much for your well wishes!! Colonoscopy went well! I actually took a long walk before the procedure, to get my mind off food, he,he,he!!! Have a great evening!!!
-
Sedona would be nice but there's no beach. I guess I could bypass the beach for a nice all-inclusive spa though. And, if no beach then a pool is a must.
Dental appt tonight and it's soooooooo hot (93 F) and humid so just came home to a salad and some fruit. Soriya123, I'm with you. Lucky if I can get in one routine a day. Sorry can't help with ideas for south lake tahoe. Maybe check out the website to see what's available. Watersports for the kids maybe?
Night my sculpted friends.

Thanks for the warm welcome, ladies and the advice, TwoHobbies. I probably overdid it today. I went to Safari Park and it was warmer than I expected. I walked around more than I should've and was shaky and in a cold sweat by the time I left. Not good. I need to slow it down. One the positive side, this is really the first week I even want to attempt getting out in the world again. Things are looking up!
Sounds like you several of you are planning a vacation. Love the locations! I didn't catch when you all are going, but I hope you have a great time!

Click, some of us met up in California this summer & we are brainstorming for next year. Everyone is invited!!
I looked at Sedona & some other spots & the problem I'm finding is that most of the out-of-the-war resorts are not near an airport (Sedona is 100 miles from Phoenix). Some of the Florida resorts would be more accessible, but summer there will be steamy hot there. Maybe if there was someplace by (or in) a major city that still had some of the outdoor features would be best. ???? Or do another city (but just one city). New Orleans is very interesting (but you have the steamy factor in the summer), San Diego, Charleston all come into my mind. Back to research!
-
What about Atlantic City?
or the Wynhem Harbor Lights in San Diego?
-
Love the vacation ideas and am up for anything in the US. If we are thinking cities, any I interest in New York? After the DC trip, I am pretty sure we can handle steamy....LOL
Exercise today was bootcamp.
Sweet dreams all.
-
Hi Soriya! Have fun in Tahoe. I haven't been so can't advise.
20 minute bike, 30 minute treadmill, 25 minute dog walk.
-
i went to lake tahoe a lot as a kid, cause we had boats. and it was beautiful, and so clear. if kids like roaming and running, it'll do! starkly beautiful. i remember this really high railroad bridge, i think. all i really remember was the lake, i wouldn't ever get out of the water till almost dark. i walked a bout a mile today was all, and up & down stairs a bunch. meant to do more, but only had about 5 hrs of sleep last night. you ladies are inspiring. it is really true, i do feel much better when i do move. tuna sandwiches for din, and progresso tomato and basil soup. we were gonna go out to dinner, but my get up and go got up and left! will do dishes, and epsom bath.
-
Rats, I didn't know Sedona was so far from PHX. I guess that would be a little inconvenient for a group converging from different starting points, huh? San Diego is a great choice too
Two walk/jogs with the dog and 30 minutes hooping.
-
If you all go to San Diego, please except my invitation for a homemade Italian meal at my home! I would love to cook for you all!! A year from now I sure as heck better be done with all treatment.
Kathe, great to see you on this thread!
_Ann_, One day, I'm gonna try that hooping.
-
lake tahoe we probably do kayaking and hiking . not sure about water rafting looks pretty scary to me, even though i saw pictures with small kids like mine doing it with their parents. today walk 1 1/2 hrs.
-
Hello all, today I did an hour on my bike...feeling a bit funny though....my ears felt all blocked up most of today so I'm going to take it easy for the rest of the day. It must be cause I said I felt energetic the other day .....I feel like I spoke too soon lol. I'm going to take my own advice and rest.
@slowdeepbreaths.....Italian sounds fabulous !!!! Unfortunately I live so far away...dang:(

I lived in Placerville (aka Hangtown, California gold rush country) earlier in life and in the winter, would drive to Tahoe to ski frequently. The summers, not so much, although it is beautiful and with young children, I'm sure there will be lots to do. By the way, welcome soriya123. ms_mez, glad the time spent on the Vineyard was a recharge for you all.
Freestyle step and body balance at the gym this morning.
Was going to run when I got home, yet the pothole men are working on the lane at the bottom of our drive, so I'm staying in with our dog who does not like listening to the jackhammer, so she barks and with the two going simultaneously~sigh. Quiet country life - not this afternoon.
-
Hi all - been a few days since I was here, lots to catch up on. Have not been very faithful to exercise the last week, been very tired, bloated, constipated, and my lymphodema has been acting up a bit. Normally I flare and then it goes back down within 24 hours, but I am now in my 3rd day of mild truncal and arm swelling, so annoying. Plus hubby is away on business, and I never sleep well when he is gone. So here I sit with an extra large coffee.
Monday was my 3 year anniversary, and I celebrated with 6 friends at a beautiful restaurant on the water. Gorgeous evening, and feeling blessed to have these women in my life. And of the 6, 2 also had breast cancer, one several years ago, and one undergoing treatment right now.
I'm with Patoo, I love the beach! And all inclusives! Have you ladies considered Mexico? Cheap flights to Cancun, and lovely all inclusive resorts south of Cancun (Playa Del Carmen/ Riviera Maya area, with hotel busses taking you there from the airport), and these resorts are like fortresses against the outside world, so very safe. Plus day trips to dolphin swims, ancient ruins, shopping, etc.
-
The Walking Women of Wednesday went trail walking today. Yes, that is a real, live buffalo in the background of the top picture!
-
Nice pictures, Ruth!!! I remember our time in North Dakota!! Beautiful scenery!! Took a walk this morning, bike ride this afternoon!!!
-
LilacBlue Hi this is sas-schatzi. You tried to advise me awhile ago. I was soooooooo naïve. I was banned for three weeks, otherwise, I would have gotten back to you sooner to let you know-----you were so right. -
Great pictures Ruth. Your area is beautiful!! It must be very motivating to have a group to walk with every day.
I did my stretching this morning and I'm off to the water park with the kids. I'm wearing my Fitbit because I know there will be a lot of walking.
-
We just walk once a week. It's a good thing it isn't more than that or I'd gain too much weight. We walk for one hour and have breakfast for two!

-
Hit the gym after work today for 20 minutes on the Elliptical plus 30 minutes of circuit training.
-
That's funny Ruth! I did over 10,000 steps today!! Now I'm off to take my three day nap.

-
Walked a little over 7100 steps today, mostly after work.
I would love Mexico and there is a Wyndham resort, I think it was Cancun? or whatever, and it was on the beach! But I know several want to stay stateside. Atlantic City - no, you don't want to go there. Depressing and the beach leaves lots to be desired. NJ beach water is also cold, even in summer, if you ask me, but I'm spoiled because I usually do the beach VA and south (Outer Banks NC, Myrtle Beach SC, FL) where you can easily wade or swim without shivering. You also have to pay to park and also pay to get on most of the NJ beaches - ridiculous!
I thought there were quite a few Wyndham resorts in SoCal so we could, again, fly into John Wayne and go south this time to one of them.
New Orleans would probably be a good place but not if we want a beach nearby. I'm okay though with a pool where we can gather and relax a day here or there.
Badger did say we needed to narrow down quickly. I don't think we are limited to only the summer months either.
