Anyone with a Reg Rec in Supraclavicular Lymph Nodes-scared

Ugh,that sucks about the pain and infection! I hope they are doing something to clear it up.
If the lymph nodes aren't draining properly, you might have to get your MO to refer you to a LE therapist! Have you had issues with LE before? But I know yeast infections can be painful, too. Hope you get some relief soon.
In my thoughts...(((Hugs)))

no never had issues with LE will definitely ask him
thank you

Well, went for mammogram/ultrasound today. Good news, they didn't see anything in left breast, also checked with ultrasound areas I was concerned about. Didn't see anything there in tissue, said if it was in bone it wouldn't show but since I didn't have pos lymph node probably wasn't. But the calcifications, they have been watching the last year in the BC breast have increased and concerned her, said usually she can tell by the pattern if caused by radiation but they aren't in that pattern. She did say they were coarse which was good but than said better to find out now if it has returned than in 6 months... Biopsy scheduled for June 17th... So in the waiting game, again. This Dr is the one who did my original biopsy,on a Fri she told me then,I know you are going to be worrying all weekend,I'll tell you now it's cancer IDC. I've seen enough of it I can tell what it is,I've been told she is considered one of the top 5 in the US. At least I don't have to do the 6 month watch and see game, again!!

Positive vibes going your way! So happy they are pushing for a biopsy to relieve the stress of waiting

Glad to hear your surgery wasn't bad! But just remember not to overdo, you are still healing inside.
Had my biopsy today, took an Ativan before I got there
) so it wasn't too bad. It only took an hour,I hurt more than the other 2 biopsies I've had but they had to go to the chest wall where the calcifications were so I guess that it is to be expected! They said results will be back Thurs afternoon or Fri.
Take it easy, let hubby and your daughter take care of you! In my thoughts, positives vibes coming your way!

Having a hard time adjusting to my son having his own apartment...I wasn't ready yet to have him leave.

I understand how you feel,I have 6 kids it was hard each time one moved out! But especially the last-empty nest syndrome big time! But a couple moved back in for a little while over the years then I had to adjust all over again! Lol

hi sweetie.
I have cancer AGAIN...ONLY in my supraclavicular lymph nodes. They have me on a combo of Gemzar and Carbo. It's been really hard. No se from the chemo, but just going through this again has been a heartbreaker for me. I hope you're ok. Stay in touch!

Today I noticed a hard lump right above my collarbone on the left center of my neck. I felt it firstbut it is visible. I am wondering if I should call my oncologist or start with my family practice doctor. This is the first time I've had a scare and I'm not sure the best course of action. I'm sure it's nothing. (At least that's what I'm telling myself.)
-
I wouldId personally call your oncologist. They are in charge of your monitoring for cancer and will likely be a bit more responsive to verifying it is nothing to worry about through any appropriayw tests. Good luck and keep us postes.
-
thanks. I saw my general practice dr on Friday and it was of no use. They did an X-ray and said that it's "fine". I see the PA at my oncologist tomorrow. (If the roads don't ice over)
