Pgs 471-473
Peppermint Patti--how delightful you found us. Crazy group, but very lovingBeatmom glad you found us too! Wish you had been able to come with Philly when she visited. We all had such a good time. Spookie was here too
Cami, glad you came back on June 9th. Glad you were able to go too Joey's BD.
Shellshine, Happy Dance for you-------peace. There is such a thing? May I touch you? Sprinkle some all over us
Tang you've had your sx by now. I'm sure the next pages will tell us what's up
Littlegoats is right OR nurses have seen everything. Not to worry. They take it all in stride.
2nd glad you're back too.
LMG's Your so right about going into some of the homes for homecare. One I wretched so bad, I ripped something in my throat. It took years to heal. Everyone would start wretching if I even described one thing about the home. The outcome was good though, we got her into assisted living.
Blessing's your house is soooo cute. I have zeroscaping. Dini the lab rips or breaks everything. Philly was so polite about the xeroscaping. She loves nice landscaping. Your porch is so inviting for a visit. I love porches that invite people to stop by and have a chat with tea, coffee, or wine
. Shellshine rewarded herself with making a lenai in the backyard that was here peaceful place.
Smarrty, I know the weddings already seems so long ago. The pics were great, and all looked beautiful and OH SO HAPPY! The dresses were beautiful.
probably missed something LOL, but trying sassy

Enerva thanks and glad you are back with us too
HI1---thanks it's great fun to always change the avatar. It's like waking up in the morning and deciding what to wear
Glad you are enjoying your sports shows. AND that Portia has moved on YAY. Thanks about the NRC. It was a very cool phone call to receive. I felt very honored.
2Ta-----beautiful cake
Chocolate YUM.
Nettie, ups and downs. Here's hoping you stay on your feet and don't let the bush-hog get you
Hope your pain is better. It sounds like it's always changing. Wish we had a magic brew that would take all this garbage away
-
IF WE ARE HAVING A PARTEE , I MUST GET INTO MY PARTEE AVATAR. BE BACK!!!!!!!!!!
-
Chevy - That guy don't need no stinkin' wallet. His drinks are comped. Gotta be European pics. Chevy who's looking at the drinks????
Welcome back SassyFrassy. I got a hint that you were banned. Does that mean no PM's too? Just askin. Spookie said you were OK and that's all that mattered.
Fierce One - Sorry that your lung rads are getting you down but let's root for frying those little buggers but good. Cut lots of branches last week for goats. Why buy hay when green stuff is free - elm, hackberry, wild grapevines. Yum.
Wow Sassy the NRC celeb.
Yes there are days I just read and not post. I pop on for a bit, read here, read others, go back to my beeswax as we used to say. I worry about those having active tx like Tang/Fierce One and I know I've left someone out. I do get nosy and check their profile for activity. I think summer days we are just quieter. Seems I remember that last summer too. Esp you up north who now get to enjoy the sun.
SS party (slip n slide, super seniors, sloppy seniors -well maybe not) was great. Ate too much BBQ'd stuff. Guy doing it has done some professionally. It was fun though it did heat up nicely (??) in the afternoon.
2TA - nice gathering at Olive Garden. Looks like everyone having a good time.
Partee time sounds deelightlful. What can I bring? Don't know the guys in the thongettes - we must find the name of those.
OK did everyone go have a nap attack a la Garfield?
-
LMG's all kinds of rules. But I'm guessing there's a rule about talking about the rules. Just as you said I'm minding my own beeswax. Social from here on out. Retiring Cervantes.
BBL feel like cooking a nice dinner
Yippeee L&H&P's sassy
-
welcome back SAS. Your knowledge was so missed.
-
-
Wow. Sas, banned??? I know you can't talk about it for fear of being banned again, but I must have missed something really big or maybe it was on another thread! Wish there was another way for us to stay in touch when that happens! anyway, glad you are back!!
Yes, I'm up and down, but have been told to stop worrying and live, so that's what I'm trying, but it's hard when you hurt so that you don't sleep and the problem begins to snowball! anyway, I'll make it!!
Glad you are back! And hello to all the other's today, I am behind because I took the weekend off, just sneaking a peek!
-

Welcome back SAS....really missed you. So does being all 'social' mean we can't tap into that brilliant brain of yours and ask all our medical questions? BTW, are you still glowing?
-
Badger, I've been reading and looking at your pics on the exercise thread. What a great adventure you gals had, what fun. It's so nice to see some of the BCO gals that post on these threads.
-
Sas!! No need to apologize to me for anything! Glad you are back and are okay. I'm wondering what the drama was too, but I'll mind my own bees waxlove the get together photos, looks like fun.
FBB-sorry about the drama at home ((hugs))
I made chicken parm and cake for Father's Day dinner. My dad and step-mother came over, and my dad washed dishes...go figure. They were worried about me and I just wanted to do something nice for them for all their help lately.
Trying to gear up for tomorrow.....it is gonna be a long day. Seeing radiation onocologist at 945am for first visit. LAST chemo at noon!!! Still can't believe it, I just gotta get thru this last one. I truly wonder how people made it thru chemo in the early days.
((hugs))
-
Hi Badger, you're just a traveling lady. Glad no one got blown off the bridge. You gals are just showing off how healthy you are LOL. Yes, I got your textthanks. L&H&P's
Paws Hugs, I'm yours in any way you need. I had a bunch of threads that I watched. Like Port, Constipation, Just dx'd-GP. etc. Then there were threads I bumped to keep them in actives and answered questions on them too. But since I can't predict what will be deleted and what won't, it's not worth my life minutes. OH big big hug!!!!!!!!!

The planets must be in alignment again - Miss Sassypants is back! ( Can't post any cute dancing gifts; on my iPad and would never be able to figure it out. But suffice it to say I AM doing the happy dance...)
And those guys with the one-sided Speedos? Totally new. You can tell by the old tan lines. They may be hot, but they're dorky hot. At least get a nekkid tan or a spray tan!
-
-
2nd -----perfect
-
thanks, Cammi, why are you still awake?
Ok, iPad users: when I google animated images, then SAVE IMAGE to the iPad, then upload to BCO (using the icon that looks like a picture frame) it isn't animated any more. Does anyone know how to correct this?
-
Morning goils! Welcome back miss Sassy! Good God Girl, just be your regular witty, informative self and keep us company on this thread! Ha!
You can't change the whole world, at least in a couple days, so just hang here with us other ne'r-do-wells and have fun!
Our little DD came over yesterday, AND our DD fromanothermother and it was soooooo nice! Taking DD to the shuttle this afternoon, she is going to her Sister's in Orlando..... sniff..... She will be gone a WEEK! I'm having serious withdrawals from this..... sniff...
She brought over Kentucky fried Chicken for Father's Day, and we laughed and I showed off my back yard, and all the things I painted yesterday morning! Now don't go telling me all this STUFF about my Gatchee's or whatever they are!
Beause I won't listen.... Ha!
Working in that yard just keeps me off the streets.... Except we DID all walk up to Starbucks for my favorite!
Okay sweet ladies.... YES Cammi, you TOO! Ha! Have to drink my coffee out back, while the sun is starting to come up!
xoxoxoxo
-
good morning everyone....hope you all have a great peaceful day
-
cute pics FBB and 2nd
Tang...good lick today. Hope your last chemo is the easiest one
Hi cami..hope u r feeling a bit better. It's funny every time I read your weather report...I think...whattttt, it's beautiful here..maybe a little warm tomorrow. But I am always sitting in my back yard, and it's cooler out there then in the house..hope you have a good doc appt. Wednesday
Blessings..how r u doing off the meds ?
Hi Chevy...love the thingamajigs, chatkeys, or however u spell that. We r looking for a couple salamanders to be climbing up some cinder block..no luck so far. Nice that u have the swan resting on a chair
love your table !!
Be good everyone...sas is back... Hi sas...and congrats on getting on the board !! Cool stuff
-
Hi Susan! I just painted that table again! Tried to give it a little pizazz! And the chairs were rescued from the alley!
The one in the distance is a wicker ladder-back chair... It had been painted all light blue, and was really in bad shape, so I snuck down the alley one morning, and TOOK the damn thing! Same with the other white one.... And I painted the seats red to match the table. We have had that picnic table since 1970...
You have Salamanders? Almost? They are going to breed, you know... Then you will be feeding them ALL.... just like Chipmunks I had once.... Ate up the whole garden!
Oh yes, CONGRATULATIONS Sass! You know, I was thinking once.... Have you ever thought about starting your own informational web-site? I don't know anything about it, but like when we google something like "how long after a broken hip will I be albe to walk without a cane:?"........ Or even "why am I having so many problems with constipation?" And then all these sites come up... and you can read what OTHERS experience, or read what OTHER people know, and you can maybe get help that way...... So I was just wondering if you could use THAT type of informational sequence of topics to help others!
Or whatever I just said...... Cammi! Don't even THINK it!
-
Chevy , not real salamanders...chatkey ones....we don't have them here in chicago.....rats yes...salamanders no..would prefer the salamanders.
You did a great job rehabbing those chairs. I used to do that kind of stuff....I move through projects so quickly...they r phases for me. Right now we are in a knitting phase. Getting things done for my daughters kids, just in case I am not here when they come along. I have knitted so many things for her and other people, don't want her kids not to have anything from my hands. So far I have 2 sweaters and a scarf done. Working on finishing a sweater for my daughter. Then I am back to baby clothes. They do go quicker so they are more fun.
I will send a pic of the one sweater I am soooo proud of it, had to do it with a diagram. That was a first for me.
-
here it is....I am getting better !! Took some classes. Still haven't blocked it
-
Morning CHEVY, love the backyard. Dini would make short work of it's destruction looking for lizards. I'm a garbage picker when necessary too. Stephen once picked up a butcher block table 10 years ago. A little sanding ,polyurethane, and paint on the base. Still being used by his fraternity brothers.SweetSue so crafty....did you know Enerva is a Master Knitter? There is also a Stictching thread. Smarrty's there too Lots of nice folks. They are very helpful and have fun too. The thread moves slow so is a perfect counterpart to here
Susan is that your backyard? OMG that would be beautiful to wake up to every morning

2TA the owls are cute whether their dancing or not thanks
All you happy gardeners, how nice to look at such beautiful things in your own space that you created. Does the heart and soul good. I have one houseplant. It was my dear uncles funeral plant in 1980. A philydendron. I'm it's keeper.
Cami, Thanks about NRC. My kind of committee. He said "Remember we move slow" LOL. YAY. Used to be just the opposite, now I've mellowed. Slow is good. Cami prior to finding that thing on how bile affects stool color, I would have thought infection. Knew info for me, very good to know. LOL I enjoy weird stuff. Cami, honest I will be happy just being here with you all. I felt responsible to take care of the "housekeeping " threads. But very often it was hours of work. On the Constipation thread someone said that Senna couldn't be habit forming. I said to myself "I can't unequivocally say yes or no". Two Sunday afternoons were spent studying. Too much poop reading. Now if someone here asked ANY SIMILAR QUESTION I'LL BE HAPPY TO SPEND WHATEVER TIME SOMETHING NEEDS.
Blessings Thanks it's so nice to be back. Being off the AI's does get better and better. For me it took months. But initially I could feel the difference in a couple of weeks. Still take one pain pill each morning, but life is sooooo much better. The best is the change in the musculoskeletal pain. Now if we could keep from falling. It seems to me you had a fall? I know Nettie did off the lawnmower b/c of flip flops. I've only had one fall this year over Schatzi. Poor dog. I stepped on her tail. It went limp. But sprang up again after a few days.
FBB---cute owls LOL. There is nothing that owls can't be made from
I think I got something ?
-
this is my backyard sas.....both sides of screen porch.....boy don't I wish it was the other.....
