Soical Security Ticket To work program

Options

Anyone been on the program?  I started working 2 hours a day and then took a fulltime job after a year of working part time.  I have not received disabilty payments for over 6 months, as I have finished the trial work of 9months.  I can receive my benefits back for three years and I have kept my medicare.  I have been having a really hard time working laterly.  My arm has been swelling and I am just so tired.  I am so scared to stop working after working for a year and a half.  Anyone been on the ticket and then quit?  did you have any propblems getting the monthly benefit started?

Anyone working while on SSDA under the $1040 a month?  I wish i was back to two hours a day.

    Bmaybee67,

I did not think I could collect on Medicare if I went back to work and I can not stand more than 30 minutes at a time. Is there any way you could reduce your hours with the new job and go back on SSDI?

my son worked under the limit. It was as much as he could manage. There are many provisions to try to return to work but if you can't the safety net is still there. I don't remember the Medicare extension but it is several years before that might end. So you do have that.

Get as much written literature as you can and study the requirements, so that you can tailor a program to what works for you........and you know more than the typical SSA call center.

Actually your state disability determination case worker might be a better guide.

I am on it. As I understand, you have three years to earn as much as you want, then it is the SSD allotment.

I have been in/out of temp jobs and they only account for the worked, not three years from your first job.
