I would like to view the Optimal Lymph flow exercises they do. Anyone know where we can see them?

Well, you can buy the article for $39.95 but that doesn't mean that the exercises will be in there. Maybe someone in this forum has an account and can access it for free.
You can actually see the first two pages of the article. It mentions the exercises but doesn't give an explanation. Hard to say how long the whole article is and if it has the information that we want.

I was in an earlier trial with Mei and I emailed her asking if the exercises are published or taped. I will advise if I hear something.
If you live in New York City, I believe they're doing a new trial about lymphedema and exercise and may be recruiting.

The above is the best I could do scanning the info on The Optimal Lymph Flow information.charts

Best scan I could do of these charts. Increase your zoom and they are easier to read.

Thanks, OBB--you're amazing!

Oh wow, I searched and couldn't find anything but the NYU article. Fabulous. Will look into it. Ok I will read the rest of the links above. I already do the breathing and pumping much like the pics but could refine my approach.
What would we do without our LE team of helpful researchers on this board. You girls ROCK!!!!
Edited: OK I just read the links and I will wait with baited breath to see if Ellen can get the rest of the exercises to us one day.

Awesome!! Thank you for this!! -
I printed the pages above as a reminder to do them!

- If you don’t have access to a doctor or therapist with expertise in lymphedema, whether because of location or cost, ask another physical therapist or health care provider to consult with you. Talk to this person about your lymphedema concerns and your plans to exercise. As a medical professional, he or she may be able to request the strength training plan used in the Physical Activity and Lymphedema Trial, available through the PAL website. Another resource is a DVD called Strength & Courage: Exercises for Breast Cancer Survivors, a program of low-impact exercises developed by a breast cancer survivor and health fitness specialist in Pittsburgh, PA.

This is so awesome. Thank you! I was just looking into the latest stuff on lymphedema for a presentation I agreed to do. Found the abstract on Medline re: the Optimal Lymph Flow exercises and thought I'd look here.
I will purchase to honor the work/time invested but will also share with lymphedema ladies this week in an impoverished area. All good.
