Welcome Basia and DDOL.
I had a great time trying to keep up with Body Jam. Felt very relieved it was not as strenuous as "Sweat" class with Eduardo. Now let's see how many days it takes me to recover!
Cheryl, Ruth, S&S, and Badger, you all did a great job with your first hoop session.
-
Welcome new people and hello to everyone else! Having fun, and exercising as you can see!!
-
I see you took the ferry! Great photos, keep em coming!
Off to the gym and will be back later....
-
It is SOOOO much fun seeing faces! Kinda like the well-done movie version of a favorite book!
I sat in a car for 7 hours yesterday.
But it's worth it for some sister-time! -
Love all the pictures! The weather looks fabulous. Can't wait to join everyone in SF tomorrow! Hope I can keep up with all of you - you've been active! Badger - thanks for the reminder in the one picture where you're wearing your Sculpted Sister t-shirt - I have mine packed!
Joy - so good to hear from you. Thinking of you in your move to Florida. Please let us know how it goes. Annie - hope you feel better. DDOL - good luck with starting the rads. Kindergarten - have fun in Vegas! Dulci - what a terribly long car ride! At least you had a great time with your sis.
Half hour run yesterday morning - a three bunny run. There's a blue jay that seems to have a nest in one area we pass while running or walking Mikey - the blue jay will just sit on a low branch or on the ground, and give you the evil eye as you pass. It's really funny being stared down by a blue jay!
Spent all last evening running up and down the stairs doing laundry and sorting my clothes for packing. With predicted highs in the 60's and lows in the 50's, I'm packing layers, layers, and more layers - I'm going to look like that kid in the Christmas Story movie who can't put his arms down! When we planned this trip so long ago in the cold of winter, June seemed very far away. Now it's here - I can't believe I'm leaving tomorrow.
-
So jealous of all the fun you are having california girls!
Annie, hope you feel better.
Met with trainer Monday night, and he made my legs scream for mercy - just love that guy

Getting my steps in with lunchtime walks and yard chores, so that's a good thing. And a little classical stretch in the morning. Rainy here today and tomorrow, so might put a dent in my step total.
-
Have a fun trip to SF Mary and I'm sure you have packed enough..
Rainy and windy so no run today yet did get to the gym this morning for freestyle step and body balance.
-
just love all the pictures!! SlowdeepBreaths, believe it or not we have not gambled yet!!! We have been walking a lot, and swimming! Maybe tonight we will play some slots, he,he,he!! Thanks Wonderland, the weather is hot here!! Sweating is good for weight loss!!! Have a great evening, everyone!!
-
Rest day yesterday but took a nice long walk today.
Safe travels Mary. So envious of the CA Dreaming fun!!!
-
I see the CA group is growing. Glad you ladies are having fun, still exercising and getting to the beach!
I did a 22 minute walk today and that's all as I'm feeling kind of sluggish. Forgot to take my allergy medicine today and paying for that.
-
Just walked the dogs today. Still feeling punky.
-

Off on our road trip, met up with Meece and Coraliz in Santa Barbara for lunch and a tour of the Mission then drove up Highway 1 through Big Sur to Montereyl
-
-

A very long day on the road from Santa Barbara to Montereyl
-
Cheryl, awesome photo collages!
Joy, wishing you the best on your move.
It was rainy yesterday so didn't get out on my bike. I have to make up for it today.
-
Hey dulcigirl,I think those are earmuffs...haha!! I can't help wondering if you do your step aerobics in your 'fabulous high heels' if so I must say I envy you:)
I do one day of stationary bike for an hour and on alternative days I do step using a milk crate my hubby trimmed for me cause it was too high. I also do calisthenics. I do one day on and one day off...so really I do1hr exercise 4 days a week if that makes sense and I walk the dog every morning and some afternoons. I find I cannot exercise daily as such or I get bored. I have stuck to this routine for many years now and the only time I took a break was when I had my mx and when I get a virus.
-
Hello ladies,
You all look like you are really enjoying yourselves. Those are awesome photos. I feel strange posting on here because I don't really know many peeps. I hope it's ok.
-

Since my photo is posted here and I had such a good time yesterday, I thought I'd start following this thread, too. These ladies sure know how to have fun.
-
"I wish we all could be california girls......" You guys are having a blast, wish I was with you!
Did a nice walk at lunch yesterday beacuse the rain held off, and did get my steps in. No gym yesterday, had another vet kitty appt., then company. Tonight going to a fundraising dinner, then tomorrow leaving for the weekend to go white water rafting in Maine.
-
Hi, NatsFan!!! Enjoy your time with all the ladies in SF!! Say hi to Patoo from me!!!!! We are leaving Las Vegas later today!! Found the gym at the hotel today and did 10 minutes on the elyptical and 10 on the bike!! Out for a walk soon!!! Have a great day everyone!!!
-
Ran 2.5 miles and will do some weights later today as well as walk the dogs. Still under the weather, but gradually feeling better.
-
Hello ladies, welcome betty! We just walked all over Carmel and Monterey and now it's on to San Francisco
-
So I was talking to Ruth on another thread and she said, 'go see the pictures in the Exercise Thread'. Great idea said I and then realized I had taken it out of my favorites somehow. Why is it that without that red 'new' symbol I didn't notice it gone for a month!!!!!!!
Worst part is I Have been exercising. A lot.
Annie, I did it about 2 weeks ago! 5 kms. Yay! And this week I did 5 miles. Super proud of that.
Sunday, I went golfing finally and put 13,659 steps in my pedometer. That's a record for me so far! Monday and Tuesday were more 5 mile days, but Wednesday was only 4 1/2 kms. O well, not every day is a good one.
I went to the salon and had them cut off my hair. It is super light now and fluffy. I got a manicure too. Haven't had one in 20 odd years.
OK got to go back and read at least a few pages of what I missed so I can catch up on what everyone is up to. Can't believe I deleted this page. Wow.
-
Red I have the same problem too many faves. When one gets removed often don't even notice it for a few weeks.
My daughter and I have been taking the baby for speed walks down on the lake trails.Nice change when the weather is good. The gym is still there when the weather is bad.
-
Safe travel to San Francisco, California girls!!! We walked the Las Vegas Strip this morning after the gym!
-
Welcome Bettylove. I'm hoping your name is Betty loves trees and not Betty love stress!
Still enjoying my virtual California vacation.
Walked 30 minutes tonight.
-
thank you wonderland
-
1 hour of circuit training with weights at the gym tonight. Came home and vacuumed the pool so as to get it ready for the weekend. Hoping to get some laps in around all the graduation activities for my nephew.
Love all the beach pictures Cheryl.
