Big Weekend! 10 year survivor and now a Doctor!
Hello to all of you brave, beautiful women out there. Just a note to say that I'm now 10 years out from diagnosis of Stage IIIA BC. ER/PR/Her2+. I was diagnosed at 25 and at age 30 I decided to go to medial school. I graduated this weekend and am off to pursue a 3 year residency in pediatric medicine. Also, and more importantly, over the past 10 years, I married my husband and we adopted a beautiful, amazing daughter who we can't imagine our lives without. I am a long time supporter of breastcancer.org and I am so grateful for the support it has provided me over the years. I love reading survivor stories and so I am now posting my own.

Hi Lynzee as a young mom who is finishing up chemo your post is so inspiring and encouraging!! And really gives me hope Thank you for coming back here to post and encourage others! Can u please tell us what hormone therapy you have been on and what else you have done to get through the past ten year? How wonderful that you are now married and have your beautiful daughter.
