Worried Niece

My 60 year old aunt living in Vietnam recently told me that she is noticing some bloody discharge in one of her breasts. It comes spontaneously and there are no pain or lumps. She's never married or had kids. She went to the doctor and was told that it was nothing serious yet but to me, something that is bleeding is never normal. I am worried that the doctors are overlooking or missing something. Has anyone ever experience the same situation?

    Hi Splashfly.

    Welcome to the BC.org community. It may take a little time for some replies to your concern regarding your aunt to come in. 

    Of course the ladies here are very supportive and have a wealth of information, however only a doctor or breast specialist can diagnose this issue. Just to let you know, there is also a forum called Not Diagnosed but Worried where you may also gain support and insight.
