Do any of you bounce on a trampoline or other bouncey device?  I asked my CLT about it but she didn't think it would be helpful. I seem to recall someone mentioning it on a thread so I thought I'd ask and find out if any of you found it helpful.

I have a book called The Complete Natural Medicine guide to Breast Cancer - which I borrowed from the library the nurse navigators had at my cancer centre - it has 2 pages of rebounding exercises to "improve the circulation of lymphatic fluid within the body as muscular contractions push the fluid through the lymphatic vessels"  Rebounding for 10 minutes has the aerobic effect equivalent to playing tennis for 40 minutes or jogging for 30 minutes - so, it's oxygenating the body. I'd love to get a mini trampoline or rebounder. Even sitting on one and gently bouncing, I have read somewhere - is good - it's moving that lymphatic fluid.

What a fantastic idea.  I think I have one somewhere in my "museum" of unused home gym equipment....  thank you!

Here's an earlier thread about rebounders:

People with leg LE tend to find rebounding especially helpful, but as you'll see when reading that thread, women here find it helpful too.

    Be well!

I used mine during chemo and rads when the weather was too nasty to go outside for walks.  It came with a balance bar that helped me ease into using it.  Anytime I felt that swelling was increasing, I would get onto it for 5-10 min.  For me, it made a difference.

I still use it in combination with weight training.

Thank you, Binney,, I had hoped someone who steer me to an original post.  I should have searched for "rebounder".

I have one of those big exercise balls,,, wonder if sitting and bouncing on it would give the same effect?
