My first job.....

A girl Friday of sorts. During high school, hired to help build the scaled-down models for architects, when they found I could type, it changed everything! Assisted in typing and receptionist; helped erase blue prints and print titles; opened, read, prioritized and called in letter to someone who was working upstate at the state capital; organized and maintained the interior designer's supply room (which was where they propped the door open for ventilation and I could watch the planes arriving/departing John Wayne Airport), and they trusted me to courier money and checks to the bank (the day they handed over $29K worth of checks I thought I was a hot-shot). They loved when I wore my short drill-team uniforms to work!

This is fun..... My first job was........

babysitter & then a nurse's aide in a nursing home (which made me SURE that I did NOT want to go into nursing!)
