Hi ladies,

Does anyone else have lymphedema in the trap/top of shoulder area?   I am so "puffy" there and it seems to be getting worse.  Neither my day or night sleeve covers it(obviously) and it is impossible for me to push the fluid.

I did some yoga this morning, and I have been walking.  Any other ideas? Thanks!

I have a puff pocket that often appears just under my shoulder blade.  I can always feel it by a slight burning sensation, without even looking.  Horrid!  What works best for me is to wear a compression T shirt.  Also, I have a foam roller, something like this:

And I put it behind my back, up against a wall, and then do mini-squats so that my LE area gets a massage.  It's easy to be light on the pressure.  I've heard of other women using a paint roller to reach areas of the back, too.

You could also try Kineseo taping.  It works for me.  But you have to know what you are doing.  Kineseo tape can burn your skin if you try to remove it too soon.  You have to let it fall off.

Thank you for the information.  The roller looks like it will really help.  It has gotten so bad in the past week that my neck and ear hurt from the fluid build up.

I'm afraid I don't know how to use the tape, but I am going to get a compression tank to help.

Thank you so much for responding!
