Wednesday Weigh In
Comments
-
Up 0.7 lbs, but I know why and it's time to turn things around. I've been complacent about my food intake since I started running and I haven't been tracking my WW points either.
-
Up 1....I know why too.....eating too much!!!
-
Down 1.
Kind of losing track of where I was with the ups/downs from the meds, so today=143.
-
Why is it so hard to lose and so easy to gain? This past week I had company, so lots of food & drink and limited exercise so I expected a slight gain, but +4.6 lbs! My first gain since joining this group. Need to get back in the groove!
-
Weight not favorable but I hope it's just water. We will see.
-
Up 1.5 to 133.5. I knew Mother's Day was bad news (all day), but I thought some would drop off by now. Guess not.
-
157. Maintaining. I'm happy with no gain!
-
I have to confess that I broke my no sweet challenge and did have a little cake and ice cream at the shower I was at yesterday. It was a sit-down dinner and they came and put ice cream and cake right in front of me. I normally would say "no thanks" but I was actually still hungry so what's a girl to do? I had just a couple of bites of cake and half of the scoop of the ice cream!
The good news is I didn't gain any weight from that. I've been intermittent fasting this week and I'm having some lucky getting the mother's day and birthday feast off. Down 2 lbs since Wednesday, but I'm still up 1.5 lbs from my lowest weight as of this morning. I'm hoping maybe I can get that off by next Wednesday.
-
Same thing happened to me, Twohobbies. They put a Tiramisu right in front of me at a family reunion on Sunday!Great job on losing 2.
-
So I'm logging on to record my Wednesday Weigh-In and I think "Where is everybody?" I just realized its only Tuesday. OMG I am so tired I have no idea what day it is. I really wanted to report I'm down 2.4 so I'm going to say it anyway!
Heidi, Tiramisu sounds so good. Well back to the challenge. Maybe I can get through the rest of the month.
-
Down 300 grams. Resumed the challenge after the Sunday blowout. I think this no sugar stuff does make one feel more tired. -
I am down one of the two I was up.....I think I will be on the 'Total Sugar' diet this weekend, as we are invited to 6 graduation parties!
-
And I'm down 0.6 lbs. Weighed in at 119.9 this morning.
-
Down 2 to 131.5. I was 135 at doctor's yesterday fully clothed. I'm sticking with my numbers. I see my onc towards the end of July. I'm going to aim for 125 by then.
-
157.5 this morning, down from 159.5 on Monday! Really overdid eating last week and back on track this week except today when I had dessert and then ate a Midnight Milkyway while I was driving home from the grocery store. No dinner tonight.
Congrats to the losers!
Let's all hang in there.

Haven't checked in for weigh in Wednesday for ages, but today I have some success to share with you. This morning I weighed 158.5, which means I am finally back to where I was before Thanksgiving. Those 6 weeks of Thanksgiving to New Years I "blossomed", and topped it off with a tropical all inclusive vacation in February, climbing to 166.5. It took me 6 months to get here, but I'm happy as I can be. Now I want all you ladies to be in my head next Thanksgiving/Christmas telling me not to do this to myself again!

Hello everyone!
I am about a month out of a double mastectomy and I have had my weight creep up a bit. I lost 150+ pounds over the last couple years, and do not want to start that slide down a slippery slope! My weigh in today is 185.4.
If you are one of the April sleeve sisters there is an app/website that was hugely helpful in my weight loss journey- and it is free. The website is www.myfitnesspal.com and it is a simple way to enter in all of your food and exercise. The weight loss center I work with strongly advocates tracking, and I can attest to how much it helps. Feel free to friend me there, and I go by idateacher2 on that site.
Here is to our health!

I have lost about 14 pounds since my diagnosis in January, and I would like to lose 20 more over the next few months. I think it will be helpful to come here for support. From last Wednesday (5/14) to now, I have lost ZERO unfortunately. Hopefully I will have a loss to report next Wednesday (5/28).
happyteacher: 150+ pounds lost -- that's amazing!
-
Pat that is so easy to do and we'll all remind each other to not take off a full holiday season next winter. Somehow the math never adds up because I can gain twice as fast as i can lose!
Welcome Janett and happyteacher. I definitely think it helps to track what you eat in whatever manner you choose. I keep jumping around. I used myfitnesspal, changed to lose it, then went to a notebook, then to Argus.
-
Thanks April 2014 surgery sisters for directing me to this site. I want to "take back my life" and what a wonderful way to support each other. Count me in!
-
Welcome, Renee51, HappyTeacher & Janett2014! This thread has been a big help to me. I was overweight at diagnosis, lost 5 lbs during chemo and have taken off the rest of my excess weight since finishing active treatment last summer. Maintaining has always been my biggest challenge and the accountability and encouragement here is great.
If you haven't already found it, check out the "Let's Post Our Daily Exercise" thread too.
-
I am a little late at weighing in but thought I would do it before the holiday weekend rather than after. This morning I weighed 171.6. I would like to lose 15 to 20 lbs before my exchange surgery, which should be sometime before September/October. I have lost 15 lbs since diagnosis and hoping I can keep it going. I am almost seven weeks post surgery.
-
Welcome, Renee, Happy and Janett!Down 200 grams. I again took a break last Sunday from being sugar-free. This time it was a lunch party and folks shoving frozen and other desserts on my plate. Yumm.
-
Up a pound, sigh
-
I am not weighing until tomorrow. 7 graduation receptions Saturday & Sunday (and yes, I ate a piece of cake at each one of them), a picnic Memorial Day, my book club met last night......it is going to be bad!!
-
Up 2 lbs to 159. For understandable reasons! Like a Large Chocolate milkshake from McD's yesterday. And otherwise straying off WW plan.
-
I'm not great with equations but this is simple math:
Back problem limiting activity + eating out and picnicking all weekend = up 3!!!!!
I never did like math.
-
After all the holiday eating, I was surprised to be down a pound this morning--170.6.
-
Stayed the same at 131.5. We're going down to Oregon for youngest GS 7th birthday. Two days in the car and in a walking boot + birthday cake means I'd better watch it.
-
I am down one pound. Wish it were more, but I'll take it!
