I am rarely ever dizzy, but about 4-5 days after surgery I started having short dizzy spells...only once or twice a day, but it seems weird.  Anyone have any ideas?

MilesToGo1953, as explained in this section on Dizziness from the main Breastcancer.org, there are some BC-related treatments and other medicines that can make you dizzy. You'll find tips there to manage dizziness too.

We hope you're feeling better soon!

I understand what you mean about the dizziness. I had it too and as the Mods have suggested, it's the medications. I think it was from the anesthetic because I didn't have any pain killers at all after my surgeries. I did find it hard to focus my eyes, so reading and TV weren't comfortable, but it just passed over time. I drank toms of water to try to flush all the medication out of my system.

I wish you all the very best and hope it settles down soon!

Stress can very often cause dizziness as well.  And who has more stress than those of us who just had breast cancer surgery, right? :)
