KIM /IS HER BLOOD TOO LOW???

Kim just called me. She just got out of work. She said that when she got out of the car she had loud ringing in her ears and her head felt real fuzzy. When she went to the doctors last thrusday he said her h/h was 7.5 and that was low. well last time it was low she got 2 units of blood. He said seeing that she was feeling fine he would let it go and to let her know if she feels worse. I just called the doctor to have them call her and see maybe if they can do her blood work to see if it has gotten even lower, Haven't heard back yet.Has this happened to anyone before??? I hate playing with this. She said it scared her so bad. she has a ct and bone scan on wednesday, will let you know as soon as we hear something.I am sure her h/h is even lower. the normal is between 14-16.

    The doctor's nurse called her back yesterday at 4:15pm(just before closing) They told her to try not to bend down. You gotta love it. just don't bend down. So will they re-check her blood when she passes out on the floor????????????????????? I will call today to get something done. I am woundering if there really is something more going on and they just don't want to say. She will get blood test today no matter what!!!!!

    Tami, it would be malpractice for them not to tell your sister anything that they know about her condition as long as she asks. They may not be able to tell you, but they must tell her.

    I think they should definitely draw blood again since it's been a week and she was only 7.5hgb, last week. I am no Dr. but am wondering if she could have a bleed somewhere.
    Seems to me they should check that out.

    tami, she should be getting a blood transfusion. well my mom's went low 7 . something she got one god bless
