Is this the start of implant displacement?

My right implant seems to be moving toward my armpit. For the past two weeks the pocket seam at the cleavage is constantly hurting, the pocket seam at the upper part of the armpit also hurts and the implant itself has started to ripple visibly. My left implant is firmly set in the pocket and does not hurt or ripple at all. The right implant does not move completely out of the pocket into the underarm, it seems that the side muscle has stretched making it slide more under the arm. Is this possible? Could this be the start of displacement? The pain is not great but it's constant and bothersome and I have to wear a surgical bra again to hold everything tight. It's frustrating. I have thyroid cancer surgery on Tuesday and can't really deal with this right now.

Sorry, my surgery details are not showing under my original post. I had the exchange February 27th.

Hi Beatrice - I don't know what you're experiencing.  It didn't happen to me.  I can understand not wanting to deal with it alongside your thyroid surgery, but maybe just a quick call to the PS to let him/her know what you have going on.  Probably it's something that can wait a bit as long as your pain doesn't increase.

    Best of luck to you.
