My friends,

I've happy news to share! I thought I had one more chemo to go, but on 5/12 I was told my response had been so good, that my chemo is complete!

Now it is on to surgery and radiation. I'd like to be in better physical shape for the surgery, any suggestions on that?

But most of all, I'd like to thank the members of this forum. Your caring, advice, and support have made a huge difference to me. I came here stunned, bewildered, scared, and overwhelmed. Now I'm able to be a competent partner in my treatment. That is more than just a help, it has added greatly to my ability to beat my cancer. For that, you have my deepest admiration and love,

bride

    GREAT!

The Center I went to had a communal waiting room with a long desk that seperated the Chemo side from the Rads sside.  The Chemo side did not have a bell but the Rads side did.

I can't think of any suggestions on how to get in better physical shape in a short time other than relax and enjoy being done with chemo.  How long til surgery?  I had 2 weeks between last neoadjuvant and surgery.  Then adjuvant 3 weeks after surgery with rads a week after last Taxol.  We're all different.

My BS waited 8 weeks from end of chemo to surgery.  I was in pretty good shape by that time.

    Congrats on ringing the bell.

I got a near complete response only 5 mm left at surgery but no active cells found.

Sleep well, continue drinking lots of water and walking.  You will be good to go.
