can't wait to see you!
-
FYI: When booking for arrival Thursday, check out Monday, the total is $797.44, with 4 in the room, including taxes, resort fees, etc..
So, ladies, if you have 4 in a room, that's about $200 each. AWESOME Tracyz!!!
-
Hi all you lovely Ta Ta's,
Planning Thursday night's pre party and want to know how many would like to go back to Gilley's or try another venue? Okay place your bets, oh I mean votes. LOL
The planning has started for our 6th reunion. This year will be great. Can't wait to meet the newbies and to see my Sista's inVegas!!!!!
Susie, how many days?????
Hugs Cheryl

I'm in for wherever my sisters want to go. I would like to see more bull riding from Jancie, though!
-
Agree with Mel - more bull riding from Jancie!!! However will we be able to wait soooo long to see each other ???
-
I just discovered this thread...hallelujah just what I need, a trip to Vegas and to meet some of the lovely ladies of BCO!! Details, can you give me some insight into what y'all do, what type of events or outings....is there an agenda or itinerary? I would be a newbie, just finished treatment in February and planning a DIEP reconstruction in November. Now to find a travel partner....
-
Hi Meg2 - welcome!! Friday evening we usually have a meet and greet at a certain location, yet to be announced. We go out in the evenings for dancing and companionship - lots of laughs. Saturday morning we have a section of the restaurant reserved specifically for us and we usually have a slide presentation of that past years pictures. Lots of visiting and sharing our stories.
This will be my 5th year and it is exciting because my daughter is 21 and can come and meet all these lovely ladies who have been my rock in all I have gone through the past 6 years. I think GBusse is doing a head count - you should be able to find her name on some of the previous posts - send her a PM and I am sure she will be able to help you out.
-
Meg2, welcome to our 6th Ta Ta Sisterhood reunion. This will be my 6th reunion. It was a savior for me when I went the first year. The sisters are very warm and friendly. We have all formed a special bond of friendship, love and caring for one another. This is the best group of women you will ever be associated with. BC is not our friend but with our diagnosis we have come together in friendship.
We would love to have you join our group and to meet you in Vegas. Remember what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!!!!!! LOL
Susie oh Susie, what is our Vegas count down?
Hugs all.
-
Meg2, I joined this group for the first time last year. Even though many of the women had travelled together for five years, I had no trouble worming my way into their group! Just from "talking" on the Boards, there were some I felt like I already knew before I ever saw their faces. I can't wait to go again this year - my air and hotel are both already booked
Hope you can join us.
-
Seriously??? Ya'll are going to MAKE me ride the bull again?
Meg2 - somehow I got nominated as welcoming committee or something of that effect. Basically it will be part of my job to make sure that you are taken care of. You know what everyone is doing to so you can pick and choose what you want to do and have someone hang with you. So for instance we typically don't have an "event" between Saturday breakfast and Saturday night Piano Bar. So during the day we have ones that shop, gamble, drink, poolside, etc. and based on what you want to participate in - I will direct you to someone in particular. I don't shop so I would tell you that X and X are going shopping - let's give them a call and coordinate something. This way you are not left hanging out by yourself inbetween events if this makes any sense. I am dog tired from working all day long.
NVDiane - my cousin and her friend will not be joining us this year - they are so very sorry but the friend (survivor) -well her husband has been having some major health issues which have led to financial issues but they want to be on the invite list for next year. What this all means is that there is room for fresh meat!!!!!
-
Suggestion for newbies is to come a day early - come on Thursday because it is a much small group on Thursday night and easier for those that might be a little bit shy - you aren't meeting 50 women at one time - only about 20 or so. There are some of us that just keep coming earlier each year. Last year I showed up on Wednesday!
-
Suggestion for Newbies #2 - do NOT make a reservation for an early flight out on Monday morning unless you are one that loves to get up at the crack of dawn! There is so many late nights and partying going on that by Monday you are exhausted and the last thing you want to do is to have to get up at 8 am to take a 10 am flight out. I suggest you get a flight around 2 pm. This way you can stay in the room until 12 and then head to the airport. NOBODY GOES TO BED EARLY!!! Some of us don't really make it to bed.
-
Thanks for all the details ladies, it sounds like a ton of fun. I'm checking in with a few friends to see who wants to tag along and will be back to sign up in a day or so.
Have a great weekend!
-
Yes Jancie, you will have to ride the bull again.
Happy Mothers Day to all.
Hugs, Cheryl

don't know if the plan is for the Wicked Spoon again, but we ate there Tuesday night and it was very good. I'm trying to stay away from the evil slots this trip....not really able to. We are going to eat at the Wynn Buffet Saturday before heading home. I can try out any other place if whoever is doing the planning needs me to eat somewhere Thursday or Friday and report in!!!!
-
Meg, looking forward to meeting you.

Beatmon, I believe Wicked Spoon has already been reserved for Sunday, yes.

Susieq: what day are you arriving?
-
thanks Susie.
-
hey ladies! I heard about this thread/group from another member. I would love to join and meet everyone!! I just had a revision done to my reconstruction and came home to no job... So as long as I have a job in the next couple months I would love to attend the Vegas event this year!
-
Dragon, I think I've seen you somewhere along the way in BCO, right? Anyway, welcome! And by all means, join us!!!! I travelled with many women from the Chat Rooms from 2007 to 2012. Last year I joined this group on their Vegas trip and I'm hooked. I put these vaca days on my work calendar months ago, before it was official even. Sorry about the no job part
Hope it works out that you can join us. Keep us updated.
-
marlegal, I am sure you've seen me around. I've been on a few threads since 2009. Thank you for the welcome, and I sure hope I can make the trip. I've been to Vegas once but I am sure this trip would be TONS more fun
Should I do anything now to tentatively hold a spot?
-
Thanks Ladies for welcoming Dragonfly1976. We've been chatting about reconstruction and she's helped me a lot in feeling confident about traveling to New Orleans for my stage 2 DIEP.
Dragon, read the threads and don't hesitate to ask questions, etc. These are some of the nicest women you could know. Hoping you can join us!
-
Beatmom-I'm getting there on Wednesday!!!!My Dear sweet friend is the head liner in Zumanity & hoping to catch her/his show during my stay-just dont' know what day!! Was hopin to see it before all our activities & she is getting me a good deal.
Dragonfly1976- You don't have to reserve a spot-I believe the site for where we staying this year is on this link somewhere at the top-the ARIA & they are giving us a deal & the code is with it. Some of the glas coming have posted in need of roomies....that might be where you would need to check & put it out there in need of some. Like Marlegal said-HOPE you can join us!!! We've got some of the gals that work out special deals for us & as we get closer to our dates, they post our event's. Your welcome to come & go, but we try to get together for a meet & Greet Friday nite, Breakfast & Saturday nite event..Sunday buffett & then Sunday nite farewell-it goes by way to fast. But ya couldnt' meet a great group of SISTERS!!!!!! There are alot of us on FB & tend to forget to come over here-that site is private & only for the gals that go to Vegas,SO.......if you get to go,we'll get you on that site too when you get back!!!
Heymoose-Welcome!! {{HUGS}}
