Itching, rash, and indented dots

I posted this in the IBC forum, but I am reposting this because I am not sure where to turn. I was diagnosed with DCIS in Sept 2013. I had a lumpectomy in October, and did 31 radiation treatments, which I completed on January 6, 2014. About a week or two ago, I started to have some pain, which I thought was just muscle pain from the radiation and due to the fact that I had started exercising again. The pain is not really under by arm, but along the side of my breast. I also started to have a lot of itching. A few days ago, I noticed that I have what look like dots that go into my skin approximately a half inch apart, almost like someone measured them. I guess my question is, could it possibly be IBC? I had an MRI before my lumpectomy, and just don't want to imagine that this could even be a possibility after them doing a mammogram, biopsy, MRI, surgery and radiation so recently.

Call your Dr.  There are MANY possibilities as to what is going on but only YOUR Dr(s) can DX you.

Is IBC a possibility yes - but VERY unlikely.

    Call your DR!

Thanks Kicks. I called my Dr. this morning and spoke with his nurse. He can see me on Monday, which actually happens to me my 6 month mammogram appointment as well. I really became concerned this morning when I looked at a picture and the peau de orange looking skin in the picture looks like mine.

Not to alarm you but just to inform you .............. if it would happen to be IBC, a mammogram will most likely not detect it.  I had a mammogram done when I had full-blown IBC and it was normal!  Even if your mammogram is negative, if you continue to have symptoms, pursue them.  I don't mean to scare you and odds are this is not IBC but just don't want any doctor to tell you, "it couldn't be IBC because your mammogram is normal."  Let us know what you find out on Monday.
