That's awesome Cheryl. A full house of kids. I'm looking forward to being a grandmother one day. Mine are 23, 21, 12.
-
fact is I was out looking for baby things today to keep my mind off losing the house. Hubby thinks I don't care if we lose it but I do. ANyway could afford to go to the stores so i was yard sale and thrift store shopping, got some cute thins and spent less than $20.00. Still looking for a nice hichair and walker. Maybe next weekend!
-
oh finished my cooler better go back to water
-
So when do you have to be out of the house? Do you guys have a place to go? That's got to be a scary place to be.
Hope things work out for you. -
hey janis........how was "poppajay's" birthday?
-
Not a rip-roaring drunk fest but fun nonetheless! He's a great guy and it was a beautiful day and even my alcoholic step-sister (yes she is but I won't go there now!) was acting normal which made my step-mother very happy. Good food, good conversation and good family. A good day! Thanks for asking!
-
We will find out Thursday when we go to court if we get to keep the house or how long we have to get out. Damn all the bills and the high mtg. anyhow.
I can't wait to fond out which way it's going to go. so I can get on with my life.
Janis, glad the day went well, nothing like the family behaving and still having fun!
Ok I'm having a second cooler then I'll quit for the night -
that's awesome........my favourite way to spend a sunday (minus my alcoholic brother and SIL)!
i had a sad day.........i quietly observed my neighbour and her husband split up........he moved out all day, they seemed to be splitting up amicably so it really hit home for me.....i've "been there, done that" a couple of times with "ewan" in the past...........it dredged up a lot of crappy feelings for me that i have pretty much buried.......
i digress (again)..........i'm glad you had a great day with poppajay aka jaydad! i'm pretty close to "mr. bob" (my dad) too........its a great feeling. -

"ewan"
OMG!! You just make me laugh so hard. I swear one day I'm gonna pee my pants. -
haaaaaaaa!
i'll make you pee yet! -
My husband was sitting near when I started laughing out loud and asked what was so funny. Now he's all paranoid that I have all of these exotic names for him on here, too. "What do you call me on there? The BIG ONE? Man of your dreams? A$$hole?" Nope not as creative as you dear Shel. You make me laugh and I love you for it.
-
anytime........tell jack handy over there not to worry.......not everyone is as strange as i am lol!
i'm sure its just part of my coping mechanism anyhow (which is pretty scary lmao) -
Not scary. Scary would be never being able to laugh at yourself or life. That would be sad and depressing.
-
you know?.........you're right!
thanks lini......i am gonna make you pee yourself yet! -
the hubby has been trying for years to get me to spew my drink out my nose. He always gets the kids but has only got me once!
But some of the things I've read on here sure come close! -

I saw your post over there. I agree with you, but let's not start that debate over here, too. Then she'll have another one going.
-
oops.........you're right i'll "edit" right now!
-
ok to change the subjet, how does one post pictures? I have trouble getting mine small enough to do anything
-
there.........i'm off my soapbox lol!
-
Sorry never learned to post pix.
-
pm peggy.......she's the pro on computer stuff around here!
-
she does seem to do a lot of cool stuff
-
One last thing on that topic, Shel. If everyone would quit posting on the 3 threads they would die and go away. Now, wouldn't that be nice?
-
Peggy is my picture post-it hero. She's swell.
-
ok another ? how do you know when someone is a troll?
I've also been trying to figure out a lot of the abbreviations, darn I can't spell, some I can figure out by looking at the context or the post, but others are beyond me, can't think of any examples I think I had too much to drink
if there can be such a thing -
it would!.......i think i posted to the post originally on a different thread a couple of days ago but i get so confused now i just posted to the first one i saw.........but i'm "done now" lol!
cheryl........another great resource is csp (carrie) for computer jazz........she's pretty savvy! -
Well, I'm a troll idiot. I used to think I was the troll. Then I got a troll lesson, but the only way I can tell is when the wagons circle round and round. I go away and come back when the air clears. Can we say that word, troll?
-
I know there's a website out there to learn the computer lingo that your kids are using, but I forgot what it is. Since my kids are grown and out of the house now and I don't teach anymore I feel like I'm out of the loop so to speak.
Same with my cell phone, I have just the very basics on mine. I don't think they even make it anymore! I know they don't sell it. -
i'm in your boat cheryl........and i'm married to "tech support boy" (a multimedia developer and soft ware designer) AND NO MATTER WHAT......i just don't grasp it!
i managed to send out a 3rd person email last night and i thought i was pretty hip!!!!!!
but really.........i'm not overly interested, especially when i can get someone else to do it for me lol!
funny though.......when my last computer started acting up and i had a hard time getting on the net.........i was pissed!!!!!!
"ewan" teases me about going back to work and "board withdrawals" all the time!
