    Mcgis -  Personally, I will not pack my FlexiTouch and check it.  Could be more convient than carrying it with me BUT checked there is a much larger chance/possibility of it being lost, stolen, damaged than with me.  If it's checked and it disappears/is broken for whatever reason, the financial liability they have, will not  cover replacemmeat cost.  The 'inconvience' of carrying it much less than what I would have to deal with not having it - even if it was 'found' days/weeks later.  Just how I llok at 'it'.

    medical equipment should be carried on. checked baggage can be lost or damaged.
