New Blood Test to spot recurrent breast cancer

Not sure if this article was posted already, but it sounds like a very promising new blood test that, if used routinely, could greatly increase the very early detection of recurrences -- before someone is symptomatic.

    Great information.  Thank you for posting this. I hope this becomes a tool in the Onco tool box for everyone to benefit from. I see patent is pending so hopefully it will be in use soon. Sounds very promising.

    This is very exciting stuff. I mentioned this to my MO, but I don't think she knew about it. That is the great thing about BCO, we learn the breaking news as soon as or earlier than our docs. To all you ladies who keep us up-to-date on the research and such - THANK YOU!
