California Dreaming Summer Get Togethers
Natsfan, badger, hbcheryl, sweetandspecial, patoo, and ruthbru from the 'Lets Post Our Daily Exercise' thread have been California Dreaming, and are planning a trip to the West Coast this summer. We are hosting two BCO Get Togethers, one in Long Beach and one in San Francisco. We have contacted the ladies whom we know live in the area, but we are sure that there are more California girls out there, and we would love if you could join us! Below is the meeting information. Check and see if either date & place would work for you. If so, please PM either hbcheryl or ruthbru by April 20 (Easter!) and we will reserve a spot for you. Even if you are a 'maybe' let us know. It is easier to subtract people than add them. We hope to see you soon!
Monday June 211:30 lunch at George's on Pine Street in Long Beach
Friday June 67:00 dinner at McCormick & Kuleto’s Seafood & Steaks in San Francisco’s historic Ghirardelli Square

ruthbru, this sounds like a great opportunity to get together with BCO friends, new and established!
There's a get-together package in production that should be available soon - we'll keep you posted.
-
Sounds interesting!
-
ruthbru, that get-together package of print-them-yourself name badges, table cards, posters, banners, luggage tags and more is available for download now, from this link:
-
Thanks, I will take a look.

Hi Mods, I am going to make a suggestion: on the contact list, you should also have a place to note people's screen name. Since that is what we all know each other by, it is good to have that information included so that we can connect the dots!
-
Thank you, Ruth for setting this all up!! I am definitely planning on seeing you all in Long Beach on June 2nd!!!
-
ruthbru, what a great suggestion! We'll ask the designer to take a look at incorporating screen names too. We like the notion of including an avatar picture on a name badge, along with the screen name, and real name if you want to write it in (your last avatar pic in this example - love the new avatar!).
-
That would be very fun!

Last call.....

I live in San Jose, about an hour south of SF. There will never be an "after tx" for me and I know some people are upset by stage IV ladies but I hope we're welcome. There are quite a few of us in the Bay Area.

OF COURSE, you are welcome, we would love it if everyone in the area who is able could join us!!!!!!! I didn't know where to put the invitation, but if you let me know what would be another good forum/thread for more people to see it, I will definitely copy it over!!!
Edited to add; Caryn, I had also posted it on the Get Together Forum. I will re-bump it.
-
thanks, Ruth. Just checking because to some, we stage IV ladies represent their worst nightmare.

-
Anybody who likes to talk, laugh, and/or eat is not only welcome, but is highly encouraged to attend!
-
Hooray, I fit all of those categories!
-
Is that a 'yes' then?

I think I could make Long Beach on June 2
I live in North San Diego County but can make it up to Long Beach. I used to live in Orange county and went to Long Beach frequently. for those of you traveling there, if you have time, check out the Aquarium of the Pacific and the Queen Mary.
