Wednesday Weigh In

Down 3.8 lbs this week. I really like loseit.com
-
Still below 160, just barely, at 159.5. Not as bad as it could be considering the past two weeks with an rv trip, a visit from a nephew and Easter dinner. I'm still in the "free" category with ww but 2 lbs above my low of 157.5.
Will do better this next 7 days!
-
down 1.2....happy because I was only bad on Easter Day......not before and not after!
-
Yay, Ruthbru!
-
Glad I lost the lb I gained last week. I weighed 119.4 lbs this morning.
-
Good for you, ruthbru!
Forgot where I left off but definitely gained during our spring break. Can't believe DD lost 3 kilos with all the hiking and biking we did. I probably gained 1 kilo despite all that. With all the talk of 5K I will try to reach that magic number in the next few weeks, which just might help me get rid of my vacation gain.
-
Same. Ugh!! (Bad Easter Bunny aka Candy Pusher...)
Just checked out Loseit.com thanks to the recommendations. I'm going to give it a try. I've avoided things like that because I tend to get too obsessive, but I'm going to try it for a while. I love that it counts your exercise! It was fun to see the benefits of what I'm doing add up in the calorie column.
We're back in the 30's today but I'm heading out for my run.
-
Up ANOTHER .5 to 133.5. This is getting discouraging.
-
Hang in there Wren. Sometimes we are more hydrated and that can make a difference. Or building muscle which weighs more.
-
Awesome weight loss cdelv!
Well, I haven't weighed in two weeks, and I am happy to say I am actually down .5 lbs to 161. This includes my week in London, so I am very happy about that! Combination of miles and miles of walking, and really not caring much about the food (sorry to my UK friends), so it was easy to maintain. Also, I am not a beer drinker, so I avoided "the pints".Had a wonderful trip, now it's time to get serious about peeling off some pounds. I bought a dress for the wedding and it's a wee bit too snug. I can always return it, but I'm viewing it as a challenge! 155 would be nice - 150 would be stunning!
-
Well, eventually anyway! But, down .2 from last week - baby steps!
-
I weighed Wednesday but just getting online to record. I did manage to lose my 2lbs from the carb infested seminar plus a grand .2 more. It seems giving up the idea of Easter candy was beneficial.
It sounds like some peer pressure to try a 5k. I might get my personal trainer, my teenage son, to motivate me. I've always hated running so it would feel like a real accomplishment.
-
TwoHobbies, I walk most of it with an occasional sprint for a few yards. I'm happy as long as I come in ahead of someone. He may be 97 years old but at least I passed him!
-
What's really embarrassing is NOT beating the 97 year old! true there's no law against walking.
I have secretly wanted to try a half marathon for charity but I'm afraid to commit. Maybe if I start with a 5k..,
-
Well that 'secret' must mean something so go for it. Start with the 5k, then a couple of 10k's, then work up to a half and finally, a full marathon. Okay, so you missed Boston this week but there is another one next year! I D-double dare ya!
heehee

Hi all- checking back in. I managed to lose the 25 I had gained during chemo and my year of surgeries and stuff where I could not exercise and comforted myself with bread and pasta.
I have been at this plateau now for two months, it is where i was pre-chemo, but I still need to lose 15 total to be at my best weight.
I am back from vacation and ready to tackle it. Is there a new challenge going on? The "ten before Christmas" challenge that we had really helped me lose the first round of my "chemo blubber!"
Hugs
-
Congrats, Sciencegal, on dropping 25!!!!
-
Sciencegal, good to see you again! We've been setting our own personal quarterly goals. Where do you want your weight to be by the end of June? July 1 is my birthday and I want to be down to 115. You don't have to post what you want to weigh, just how much you want to lose and make it an attainable goal. Post your goal and then weigh in with us every Wednesday.
-
some of us are using loseit.com too. It's free & you can 'get back' calories through exercise, so it is pretty motivational.
-
Good to see you, Sciencegal. Patoo, you're getting optimistic on the marathon but I'll start with a 5K!
I know its not Wednesday but this morning I was down .9 lbs! I'm less than 3 lbs from my quarter goal! Woo-hoo! The funny thing is I haven't exercised much this week. I volunteered for the ACS discovery ball and last week I was running errands in the evenings doing last minute things. Then Saturday I didn't even go to Yoga cause I had to get ready and then was on my feet for six hours. Sunday I did go to the grocery store but laid around the rest of the day. So its interesting that just more standing and more mild walking made it so easy to lose this week. I'll take a note of that.
-
Yay, sciencegal!
Same as last week, meaning no vacation gain lost.
-
Down 1 lb this week. I'll take it
-
down just .2 but will take it happily, because I totally overindulged on Monday....think fancy Italian restaurant with all the creamy pasta, cheese, warm loaves of bread dipped in olive oil, followed by a large strawberry sundae.......SIGH....no wonder I need to check in here!
-
Exactly the same as last week
-
I'm successfully maintaining.
-
Down 1.0
-
Down .5 to 160.5 Still pleased to see the progress down however slow. Plus pants are fitting better due to more exercise and walking. Now if only spring would come, cold and rainy here today.
-
Down .5 to 133. Walked so far yesterday I was afraid my thighs would give out before I got home.
-
Maintaining. Congrats to losers and other "maintainers." Ruthbru, the Italian restaurant sounds wonderful! I had a celebratory lunch today following day 2 of a golf tournament and enjoyed fried chicken! No dinner tonight.
