Cost of Faslodex and Zometa

Options

Does anyone know the cost of Faslodex and Zometa. I reviewed my insurance site and the cost was TREMENDOUS. My portion of that is most likely going to be well over $1000. Does that sound right??? Very curious

I will be honest and tell you that I have no idea but it would not surprise me. Some of our drugs are frighteningly expensive. Wishing you the best.

You will have to check with your insurance as to what you will be expected to pay. I take those monthly and my insurance company is billed 5800 every month. Best of luck.

My insurance is a Medicare Advantage and I believe the Faslodex is a $40 a moth co-pay. The other one I don't know. Be pro-active ad call them yourself ahead of time. I always do because my MO has no idea .

donutswife, check out the Paying for Your Care section of the main Breastcancer.org site, specifically the Tips to Lower Medicine Costs that describes Medicine Assistance Programs from pharmaceutical companies, including those who make Faslodex and Zometa. There are other programs described there too - all designed to help with medicine costs.
