I'm dumb enough. Don't need to do this on purpose. I can do it well enough without even trying. I guess I'll just stick with funner and funnest.
-
lol lini!
fumi!!!!!! can you send me some japanese beer???? there's one i love, but can't get it here! welcome!!!!! -
I love this discussion. I was diagnosed one week ago today!!! I've been beating myself up and telling my husband it was probably because I indulged is the reason I have bc.
I talked to my OB/GYN who prescribed Prozac to help me deal with the anxiety and depression and asked if I could have wine while taking the meds. He stated, "only one condition", and I asked, "what's that?" His response was, "only if it's good wine!".
So, I'm going to continue to enjoy my glass or two of cab or merlot with dinner!
Cheers! -
Love your doc!! Welcome!!
-
Easy peesy Shel! Which one is your favorite?
My glass is empty. Can I have a Cosmopolitan please? Some snacks would be appreciated too. -

i'm sure someone will come along with the cosmos.......if not i'll make you a blueberry stoli martini! -
I sneaked into your house while you were off to the beach and enjoyed this and that with ya DH.
Here's your beer. Enjoy! -

Janis,
I always enjoy your young man stories. You are such a hoot!
These people from CA were so much fun. I know everyone on this site would have had a good time with us !
Keep on posting!
Jan -
lini,
I can't remember where the CA folks were from. I think it was Citrus "something"? Their group is called the Hangtown Weasels. I'm at work right now, but I have their card at home with the address. I'll let you know. If I can ever figure out how to get photos on here, I'll put some in my post.
And....A BIG WELCOME to Janis F!! This is the best place on the whole site.
Jan -
Hey! I'm a princess, too, and I have the CROWN to prove it!
Is it time to open the wine yet? I started too early yesterday, missed all the fun!
Vicki P...my initials are VP, as I am THE Viking Princess.
(in my own mind, at least!) -
well its thursday night so i know that janis has some business to attend to but........anybody else as bored as me?????? lol
-
Jan-I googled Hangtown Weasels. There are some racy pix in there. They seem like a wild bunch. They have chapters all over the place.
Shel- Packing up. Heading to the beach for a couple of days to visit my baby girl. I'd come entertain you if I could. Whatcha up for? I always use my quiet time when everyone is gone to catch up on Sex and the City dvds or a movie that I can't watch when everyone else is around. Pop in a movie, it'll make time fly.

No, no business was taken care of tonight! He was working late and I guess too tired? I'm too tired too now. I'm thinking I'm about at "born again virgin" status!
Anyway, it's time for bed. Cheers to all the drinkers tonight but I'm going to be a party pooper!
Janis L -
Hello?????
Nobody out there tonight? Am I drinking alone then? Okay, I can do that! -
Hey Jay....how goes?
-
Awwww, there's one of my friends!
-
Hate to say "hey" and run, but just wanted to say Hi! BTW, I got accepted to the clinical trial and got randomized to arm 2 (which means tamox x 5 yrs & ovary suppression). YAY! I was so hoping to not get the 3rd arm (exemestane & ovary suppression).
You have a good evening & I will talk to you soon!
hugs
Peggy -

Oh, sorry! It's after 10 p.m. here and my job just tires me out so much some days and tomorrow is another 8 hours of the same! Can't get drunk as I have to be 'on' for a busy Saturday! Might I recommend you start drinking sooner?
I'll be back tomorrow night!
