muska! how's it going!? i stopped wearing my wig - so i figured they won't notice the stains on my work shirts cuz they are distracted by my crazy short hair lol

every day is a question of what to wear that's comfortable yet functional. I imagine even when i'm done it will be a while til i can go back to normal bra wear

for some reason i am freezing at night! so trying to sleep without a top doesn't last long - i just stick with something loose & airy (that i won't mind throwing out when i'm done) i don't like wearing the plastic-y pads they gave me at the center....

Hi Notbuyingit, it's going fine. You are right about the wig, lol... I am considering doing the same but need a haircut of some kind first, it looks too unruly now...

Good luck to you tom and have a great vacation!

My rad onc team frowned on the calendula, other OTC. Swore by Radiaplex ( An prescription clear lotion). used faithful 3- 4x day until in week 3 I had intense immediate reaction after applying: Rash, severe itch and deepening reddening. So they suggested hydrocodine lotion. decreased itch bit not the other. The team was surprised: " you seem to be allergic to it!" No kidding! And apparently , this is an unusual thing. I am not one of those folks who is allergic to much....

Switched to Calendula at night, Nivea essentials in day and all back to normal rad reaction. 22/33 zaps done. And yes, the "armpit" is the sorest, sternum next. Extra care there.

Friends who are BC experienced swear by the aloe and calendula.

Fatigue is more now, 2-3 days /week, but I am learning to work around it. Thanks for all the support and guidance!

absolutely forget the bra. It will be impossible to have any abrasion. Try wearing some man style shirts over leggings or slim cut pants or skirts. Maybe a lightweight cami under? Good luck!!

Calendula cream is great until the skin breaks. Then get Manuca honey and non- petroleum jelly and mix it then apply as often as possible.

Hello all! I've been lurking here for awhile and finally decided to come out of hiding.  Just wondering if any African-American had any luck with a particular cream.  Particularly, in lessening the darkening or helping the darkening lighten up quicker.
