Do I have liver mets or not?

Options

Hi ladies

I had a CT scan in December that showed a spot on my liver that was called too small to characterize.  My onc told he not to worry that it was likely nothing. She said we would check it after I started chemo. I have completed 4/6 TC and had an ultrasound that did not find anything on my liver. Now I'm worried that the liver spot is a met. Please help, any experiences, advice, or knowledge are needed.

Thank you

I had many too small to characterize 2 years ago and they have not changed on latest CT.  I also had a cyst.  There are a lot of benign things in the liver so I would not worry until they actually find something that they think looks like a met.

I think this is the time when you need to put your trust in your doctor.  He says it's nothing to worry about. Believe him.  I would ask him, though, if and when he intends to give you another scan to check up on that spot. A year?  As long as he follows up, don't worry in between times.
