Keep Praying for Karen L.

Hi Ladies...I spoke to Karen (aka KarenFL in chat) on the phone yesterday. In fact, she answered it and I was surprised to hear how strong she sounded. Unfortunately, she admitted that she sounds better than she is.

She's getting good care. Her mom is still there. She has a visiting nurse every other day, and she is able to sit at the table for meals. She's extremely tired and naps at least twice a day. She's getting around with a walker.

Karen gets chemo every other week for her lepto mets and abraxane every week for the liver and bone mets. Can you imagine?

She didn't complain once, but I did sense an "I'm just so sick and tired of this" in her voice.

Please continue to pray for Karen. I know prayer is what she would want...Mena...xo
