Wednesday Weigh In
Comments

I have to report every week to stay accountable, even when I'm bad.....otherwise I would just gain, baby, gain
-
News Flash!
-
Same applies to coffee!
-
Aha! I am going to post those two 'facts' on the gratitude thread!
-
-
Amen, Ruth. Amen Heidi. I second those!
-
Aha! That explains things!
-
Ruth, I asked you to not post pictures of me.
-
-
Funny, Ruthbru! Thanks for the smile.
-
Down 2.....no decimal point. When I faithfully use loseit.com it actually works....imagine that!
-
157.5 down from 159 on Mon. morning following an rv trip to Gulf Shores, AL, last week. We ate out every day and had some good food. I enjoyed the meals but didn't overdo it.
-
130.4 down 1.6 from last week.
-
Both drains removed and down 4.6 lbs this week. Yes, I'm smiling
-
WOWZER, good for you cdelv. I'll bet it feels really good to have those drains out. The weight loss is an added bonus.
-
Down .6, no thanks to the colon cocktail I had Sunday afternoon/evening since I ate everything in sight Monday afternoon/evening! But was good yesterday and so far today so at least I appear to be on the right path.
-
Up another .5 to 133. I may have to try loseit.
-
Wren, definitely try loseit.com. It's free and does tend to keep you watching what you eat.
-
and makes you want to exercise more too (because you can gain back calories through exercise!)
-
This is my belated Wednesday weigh in. We just got back from vacation yesterday afternoon. I am up 1 lb, which doesn't surprise me, because I've been very bad with my eating and I'm just glad it's not worse! Time to get back on track.
-
I totally missed Wednesday! Finally lost that dumb extra pound so I'm back to my "low" of 145. Now it's time to dodge that Easter Bunny and keep on losing!!
3 weeks ago my DD and I started the C25K training and I cannot believe how much it has already affected me! Less muffin top! Thighs are visibly slimmer. And.....
Today I wore THOSE JEANS!!!
(Ya know...the ones from the back of the closet!!!)
So....do not give up, ladies!!!! I've been stuck weight-wise for a couple of years. It feels so good to be able to see progress. Ahhhhhhhh.
-
Way to go, Dulcigirl! That must feel fantastic to zip up those jeans!
I have been over-indulging while dh's nephew was visiting us for a few days. The scales are pointing an accusing finger so I have to get back on track. Restaurant eating brings out the worst in me.
-
Hi, ladies. Well this week so far is shot on losing weight. Was at a two day seminar where "breakfast" is all carbs - muffins, croissants, juice and fruit. Lunch was vegetable soup with no protein and sandwiches that were about 3/4 bread. Oh dear not good for carb intolerant. So by the time dinner rolls around (pizza) I'm starved and pigging out. I just cannot eat that way because I'm hungry all the time. I'm up 2 lbs as of today and it will take all week to get that off. Next time when they ask for diet restrictions maybe I'll say I have celiac!
-
Dulci, that's great to hear. Makes me more motivated to push myself. Thanks.
-
Good going, Dulci! Yay for you! When is your 5K? I just registered to do a 5K with my daughter next month. It will be my first organized run of any kind.
-
This is our first one also. DH has done several triathlons and is training for a half ironman this summer, but I have NEVER run before. Our 5K is in 3 weeks. I know this one is more of a party than a race so we are just going to enjoy ourselves, but I wanted us to train toward it even if it's too crowded to do more than walk. Losing some flab was a surprising pleasant side effect. Maybe my body just needed the shock of doing something new.
-
I've done 5K's in the past, mostly walking interspersed with a little running. Never really considered them as 'races' as I was in them only for the fun of it. Guess I'm not the competitive type! Just saw a posting for a 5K in my town in 2 weeks. It's a run/walk so think I will go for it. Thanks Dulci for the motivation.
-
2 days completed on loseit.com...so far so good! I'm hoping to try a couch to 5k program when I'm a little stronger and then sign up for one. I did one a little over a year ago, but it was all up hill for the first half and I wasn't expecting that!
-
Wow, lots of 5K sisters here. Very motivating. We can do this!
-
130.2 and holding.
