Have not lost hair Day 14 -scheduled shaving party in 4 days

I am on Carboplatin and Taxol . I will be on AC after that . I planned  party because sources said 10-14 days hair loss starts  so I did day 18 .    Wondering if  I should cancel  since I have not  noticed hair loss  or just do it .

    I did not lose mine until day 24 - but that is unusual.  Whether or not you keep the date depends on whether you can face shaving it off prior to the loss starting.

    They say not everyone loses their hair...  but I'm not sure I believe that; and my oncologist said it's pretty much a given that you will lose your hair with AC.  Maybe not so with CT which you are having first but I don't know anything about that.  In which case, maybe you can wait until you start AC.  

    I've had two AC treatments, my head got tingly right on schedule - day 14...on day 15 it started coming out when I ran my fingers through it.  I shaved it on day 16.  That was 10 days ago.  I still have stubbles, but they are falling out (I have a bald spot on the back of my head like babies get from sleeping on their backs all the time), and my scalp is very sensitive.

    I was on TCH. Lost my hair on day 24. 3 days after tx 2.

    I lost all my hair on day 17 with A/C chemo

    I am at the moment ..my head hurts so  am going for it ...sad all day but think it will be better...

    you're doing the right thing.  Pulling your own hair out in handfuls is so depressing, and when the hair starts to fall out it gets all over the place, everywhere!  I wound up shaving mine in the middle of the night it was so bothersome.  It will grow back nice and even.  I was someone who swore I would never shave my head and I have no regrets about doing it.

    What came out in one day. I shaved the next. 2nd pic is about 1/2 way through tx.
