I finished 7 years today....on to 8
Just posting for those watching.
I am thinking about it less and less (always more around this time and visiting my doctors).
I am, sadly, still unnerved when aches and pains unfamiliar to me creep up (and my onco said the older we
get the more often these will occur regardless of cancer).
Went out to celebrate last night with neighbors and DH.
Wishing everyone a successful journey.

Hi,
Congratulation, Wallycat,
I’m in my fifth year and would like to tell you my observation about aches and pains effort me in the same way as you! As well my onco is saying all difficulties are result of my age, not from therapies ! A little sad, but it doesn’t matter! We should be grateful being alive! Enjoy and all the best!

Thanks for sharing such positive news.
. Congrats !! -
Fantastic!!!!! So glad that you're doing well. I've been feeling great too. I got a new oncologist that I love. She makes the glass 1/2 full instead of 1/2 empty like my doomsday doctor before her. I will have my 8 year anniversary in October from the first diagnosis. Guess it doesn't matter since I had a local recurrence but I celebrate anytime I can:) I think of you often and praying we keep celebrating anniversaries for the next 30 years.
Take care my friend,
Nancy
