Are Peaches Really Good In Breast Cancer?

Options

Well, I am not an expert at breast cancer, but I recently have read an article on breast cancer whose authenticity I want to check by bringing into your knowledge.

This is link to the article, and I could not find enough information in this forum about it.

Peaches Prevent Breast Cancer In Elder Age!

That's why I have decided to raise it here.

Please share your ideas on how much authentic is the information conveyed here. Or should we stop trusting what Google brings forward for our keyword searches.

I think that article is mostly right. It seems to be based on the same study as in this article: "Peaches inhibit breast cancer metastasis in mice."  http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/03/1403...

I'm not sure why the article you posted focuses on elderly women, since the study was done in mice (unless it was elderly mice!) Also, it's polyphenols, not polyphemus that are the compounds at work. The only other thing is the study was done using the triple negative breast cancer line, but I guess there's no reason to think peach extract (or peaches) wouldn't have the same effect on other breast cancer lines. Personally I'll take any excuse to eat more peaches!
