was reading the thread on chatting. I tried a while back, too. I think that we from the girls just wanna have fun threads should try it all at the same time. I did the food fight one a few weeks ago, but I'm not really into that kind of topic. Now drinking, sex, and rock & roll....

Shel,Lini
its about time..i have been soooooooo lonley tonite..
shel what about the fireman?
lini what about the beach?? -
Ah, beach. It was beautiful. About 80 degrees and clear. Went to Corona del Mar, a little beach near Newport. Very pretty. Used to go there when I was a little girl.
Bittersweet today because I had memories of body surfing and chafing up my nipples. That'll never happen again in my lifetime.
Shel's messing with firemen? What's up with that?
How was your day Robin? -
yea, read up she had a crisis, there was a big fire they were evacuated, she was gonna help the fireman
Today was ok.went for ct,the stuff bout made me gag this time. Then went for herceptin, then home and took a nap.
After I drank 2 bud's.
Only cried once today.Things will be ok,will share with you in a few days via pm.Life goes on I guess. -
Did you have the yummy banana stuff. Yuck! I wish that they would at least refrigerate the stuff. It might make it go down easier.
Oh, she's helping firemen!! Wink, wink!!
I'm glad you had a better day today. PM me whenever you like. I'm here for you.
lini -
lmao.......i wasn't gonna fight the fire........i just was gonna offer my "nurse services" in case a firefighter was "in need"
oh boy.........i better behave now!
i've got a "fireman thing".....always have! -
Shel better watch out for those firemen, they steal your heart
Not drinking tonight cause I'm already tired. But did schedule some time away from work in Sept that has nothing to do with Dr. appointments!
Do pain pills count? I'm taking those! I finished rads Friday and feel worse the last two days. don't think I should mix the drinks & the pills, least not when I have to work the next day.
You ladies have one for me, OK! -
you got it cheryl, heres a bud to you.Ah rads it takes a while or it did for me to get over it.I am just now beginning to feel like living again and I finished rads in april and chemo last nov.
lini:it tasted so bad i dont know what it was and they did have it refrigerated,.wish i had took me a flask with me thats for sure.it usually dosent bother me but today i had to choke it down and it was so cold it gave me the brain freeze.then had to drink those bead like things with another cup of it.but oh well such is life in the bc lane i guess.
wow shel still must be helping the firemen... -
-
debi..........you're not officially drunk till you can't type anymore lol!.......BC is a huge inconvenience isn't it?

i hope it comes i really need your input on this crisis.i am at my wits end, trying to make the most of a bad situation but am having trouble this time.
have a good day tomorrow. -
i'll "re pm" you in the morning robin.......first thing ok?
right now i'm trying to find captain jack again! he was outside when we got evacuated and now i can't friggin find him (my cat, not my husband lol)!
i will pm you in the morning i promise......hang in there! -
So. Shel, is everything okay now? Are you back in your home? WTF? Can you send one of those handsome (and buff!) firefighters over to my house to check out my (ahem) smoke alarms?
Janis L -
i do not share my firemen lol!
seriously though it was a scarey thing......and really toxic because it was a plastics plant that went up in flames. when i came back home i could smell the chemical/smoke stench.
and i still can't get cap'n jack to come home.........how the hell did someone like me get this attached to a friggin cat??????? lol. -
Shel:Its very easy to get attached to any animal.I had a cocatail (sp)that i dearly loved,he passed away a few years ago and i still miss him so.hpe cap'n jack came home.he probably got scared from all the action going on there.

Sure he's not the fireman! -
lol at lini!!!!! don't i wish!!!!!!
-
Holy crap!!! I'm away from the site for just one day and WTF,Fires, firemen, Speedos (DH wears one, but he is only allowed in the privacy of our own back yard. He looks damn good in it, but still.....), firemen in speedos lol. There's a whole lot goin' on here!
I had no good alcohol on my trip, just tons of beer. We got home about 12:30 am and the first thing I did was to make a big vodka Martini. Boy did that go down in a hurry! I just drank myself stupid. We ran into a bunch of people from CA who have a motorcycle club that says they are a drinking club with a motorcycle problem. They were definately my kind of people.
Janis, what happened to your young man? I must have been away.
Cheers!

Sounds like my kind of people, too!
Oh, my young man has been very busy with his new job and now drives further to get to work AND has been traveling a lot so he hasn't had much free time and, well, since we're only FB's he hasn't made the time to see me. It's been like a month () as our schedules don't always mesh but we do have plans to get together on Thrusday!
In the mean time, however, I've been drinking AND flirting!
Janis L -
Jan
What part of CA were they from? Just wondering.
lini -
Am I the first one here tonight? It's almost 6 pm in Connecticut, sipping some red wine here, all alone...
-
Okay, I'm here, but just lurking. It's only 3 over here. Still have a few hours to pop open the wine. I need to go finish cleaning house. Yuck!!
-
The housecleaning was what made me hit the bottle. I WAY overdid it, but the cat hair was starting to look like tumbleweeds, blowing through the house.
I am DONE for the night! -
6 o'clock over here too!
just got in the door........be back in a bit!
