Do RADS affect periods?

Options

Even as I am asking this I feel foolish. But I have my periods every 21-28 days. But I am now on day 33 without a period....and NO I am not pregnant, lol... That ship has sailed!!

I just wondered if the stress to your body plays Havoc with your cycle.

I'm also wondering this, Andrea. Or is it the stress and newness of the experience that can wreck havoc? Or both. I am on 7/33.

thanks Disneygirl44. At least I am not the only one then! Just one more thing to deal with I guess. On the other hand I do turn 51 this month, so it could be the start of menopause.

I have never read anything about radiation affecting menstruation, however, given the trauma that our bodies experience, I believe that all sorts of affects will occur and the administration does not like to acknowledge a lot of them.  It makes total sense to me that our bodies would shut something down to conserve resources during such a trying time.  Our bodies may be smarter than we sometimes give it credit for :)

mine is early but with stomach bug...not sure if it's coincidence in timing or if it's a sensitivity because I'm trying my best to be positive but probably adding stress. It's not bad, but I don't like tx

I am on day 18/33 and so far so good as far as my skin is concerned. My husband keeps telling me I could poke out an eye with my nipple being so hard, lol. It was quite sensitive the first three weeks but it is getting better (or I have gotten used to it). I did have slight peeling in my armpit yesterday, but using cornstarch helped with that.

I highly recommend Udderly Smooth cream. My RO told me to use it. It is found at the dollar stores and has cow spots on the front (apparently originally used on udders).
