Triple Positive - need some feedback please

Hi -  my mother was diagnosed ( she's 59) of  triple positive - Her2 positive  infiltrating ductal carincoma situ.  Dr says its matastic but they do not know where its spread too ?  her scan did not pick up where its spread too but they know it has.  She had her double mastectomy Oct 2013,  Chemo in Nov 2013,  AC  ( 4 rounds ) &  finished Taxotere  ( only 11 treatments ) . She know needs to do  HEAVY radiation, which starts in 2 weeks.  .. large sections over both breast areas ,, and lymph nodes.  17/23 lymp nodes on left side mastasic  but on right side  only 1 out of 1 was tested positive.. 

My questions is - does anyone else have this diagnosis ? or very similar ?  She went to Radiologist today and was told she does not have a good outlook, she has a very aggressive type of cancer and maybe has 6 months ? I don't understand this .... any feedback is appreciated. I'm just looking for any / some kind of hope here that my mom may live another year   ( she's a fighter for sure ) !!!
